I wondered where we could go for a stroll, and a drink on a Bank Holiday Monday, that wasn't too far from home.
Good prices, and nice views across the Humber.
Friendly staff.
Recommended.
Great little pub with a nice atmosphere.

I ordered food via food hub, and there was an error on food hub to which i gave a 1 star thinking it was to do with The Royal Oak.
Paul phoned and could not apologize enough, so i tried on food hub to remove my star rating and it could not be done, so i have come here to say. I would recommend The R
Friendly folk, great atmosphere, have a large seating/ smoking area at the back which looks out onto the Humber, delicious food, just need a few more seats in the back room and a few stools in the pool room. Have all sorts going on including live bands.

Really friendly landlord/landlady running a quality traditional pub with views across the river, lovely food and drink at reasonable prices, spotlessly clean and warm, best pub for miles imo, a credit to the brewery!
We found this pub as we explored the area. Very friendly and we had a lovely meal.

Our wouldn't say local as we live in town but we go here nearly everyday as one of our friends work there! Amazing food amazing staff and amazing atmosphere on a Friday night couldn't be any more happier with it!
