I've visited this place for years and it's a really lovely family run cafe. Perfect for catching up with my friends for coffee and cake or my husband loves the wonderful breakfast. the only downside to this place is the lack of toilets. Not such a problem for us adults but when we have the kiddies w
My husband & I often walk here for our scone and flat white (great to enjoy a real flat white). Also a great toasted tea cake. Staff are always friendly and quick to serve. We love it. Do we wish there was a customer toilet...yes but this does not detract from this lovely independent cafe working ha
Now named Church Street cafe, I have to say this is probably my favourite place to eat breakfast/lunch at the moment, been several times now and the good is always fantastic and the staff very welcoming and will try and fit anyone in if they can. Also reasonably priced unlike many places they haven'
Food was good. Bit noisy, sound travels in there. Order mix up, ordered veggie breakfast, got a bacon n sausage one, tasted great though.

Called in for a lunch today and had a beef salad (my wife's meal) which was excellent with lovely tasty prioper beef not any nasty watery pressed stuff, I ahd a full English all day breakfast which again was lovely (only slight criticism was that the mushrooms were overcooked ) . Excellent value , l
Great cafe with very friendly staff and varied menu. Always popular with very keenly priced food and drinks. Highly recommended.
Lovely cafe, spotlessly clean and everything looks very good! Only criticism is that the toilets are around the back. But that can't be helped.
Lovely scone and coffee, in pleasant surroundings. Very reasonable prices. Lack of toilet is a real isssue for me.
Absolutely fantastic coffee, the staff are great just need to update the name to Church Street Kitchen
Great little place for sit-down hot and cold snacks. Very reasonable prices. The homemade scones are delicious.
Great place. Very friendly and very helpful. Beautiful full English breakfast
