It is a very unusual place for a JDW, but I hope it catches on.
Took a while to get served, and in fairness, the staff were friendly.
I had a good ale and a pizza to takeaway.
Would go back.
Located within the University but open to the public. Unless there's a big football match on it's surprisingly tranquil for a 'Spoons pub! The fish and chips is definitely recommended; the fish is consistently above the expected standard. App users will often find special offers available here, too.

The Sanctuary bar is a bit different from your usual Wetherspoons pub as it's actually on Hull University campus inside the Students Union Building.
