Needed food before checking into our hotel and this was one of the few places open on a Monday afternoon. Sports bars are not my favourite and the bank of huge screens behind the bar nearly had us running out. But thankfully we stayed and had the most delicious toastie and fish finger sandwich (both with chips). It's well worth giving it a go. Dropped a star because of the sport - sorry. It improved when the staff changed and the screens were muted so they could play music!

O'Learys bar (formally jazz bar) is a large impressive bar in a former bank. There is a wide choice of beers lagers and fruit ciders put sadly no cask conditioned Real ale. There is a really nice outside seating area for summer, and sometimes live music. They have recently started serving food although I haven't tried it yet.

Getting a little bit old now. Needs a tidy up and bringing up to date.
UPDATE 02/2023: has been modernised over the last two years and is a lot better than when it was Jazz Bar. Cleaner and a lot more space to move around.
