The meal we ordered was nice, the chicken was moist and tasty. However the 2 mains we received were not what we ordered. We got 2 chicken wrap meals which were 'sold out 'when we ordered!!
Shame they got the order wrong.

Really fab breakfast, with 3 adults we got too try the Arabic, Egyptian and Istanbul breakfasts, all very yummy and toddler enjoyed a bit of everyone's. Really welcoming, will definitely visit when we're in hull again, perhaps at a different meal time too.

Lovely cosy interior and Egyptian theme which created a great ambience. Bring your own bottle/wine which is always a plus for when dining out. The menu has a lot of choice of vegetarian and meat starters, main courses and tagines. We choose a variety of veggie, cheese and meat dishes. The food was amazing and flavoursome served in quaint dishes. Great service, will definitely be returning to try other dishes and recommending to friends.

Lovely, different little cafe with excellent vegetarian options. Friendly and great value. Don't go of you're in s rush though, go and have a relaxed experience !

New management/owner? It has been cleaned and NEW equipment in the Kitchen.
I had Chicken Livers and it was delicious plus to drink a Large Pot of Mint Tea.
I will now be visiting more often.

Egyptian cafe-restaurant that plays relaxing modern Arabic music in the back ground and has a Middle Eastern theme. I've only been at breakfast /brunch times and stuck to the Arabic and Nofretete breakfasts, both are tasty and a real treat, they make a change from the usual breakfasts. All the meals that I've had have been freshly prepared and cooked. I'd pop in more often if I lived in the area. A welcome addition to the local food scene. The cafe-restaurant has been open for a few years and seems popular.
