Stein's - Kingston upon Thames - Photo album

Was für eine fantastische Einrichtung! So refreshing to see a German restaurant, serving the most authentic food. The Currywurst was incredible, the Veal Schnitzel was lovely a crispy, the potato salad was unique but gorgeous (especially on a warm day). The mash and Sauerkraut were bloody delicious.
Fantastic food and amazing staff. This was our first visit to this restaurant but most definitely wont be our last. Next time we plan to go when the weather is better so we can take advantage of the veranda and views over the Thames.
Super easy to get a walk in table. The service was attentive and fast. I wish you could mix and match some bits from the menu but the choice is great. We went for a platter for 2. We came out full. Totally worth it. The beers were also on point. Can't recommend enough
I've really started to warm up to the idea of drinking here more regularly - been to the Richmond one a few times but it's taken 6 years to try this one. I'm tired of a lot of the pubs in the area, while I've often rated them highly, the beer has become universally astronomical in price, that you m
Staff are super friendly. We booked ahead for my birthday and were seated at our requested area out back so we could enjoy the sunlight and view of the Thames. The restaurant even decorated our tables with birthday bunting, which was a very nice touch. The German beers were amazing, and even more so
Stein's in Kingston is a definite favourite for me. I always leave with a smile and, honestly, a bit of a belly ache (always totally my fault). You know that feeling you get when you are full to the brim but still want one more bite... this is where that feeling comes to die as you discover your sec
Enjoyed German Biers 🍺 with relaxed atmosphere next to thameslink river, wish food/drinks prices weren't so high, otherwise I'd give 5 stars.
Our absolute favourite in Kingston. The service is like no other, the food is amazing every time and the atmosphere is just great. We need more places like this in Kingston to make it a better place.
Authentic German dishes cooked with meats sourced from Germany . All cooked to perfection and served with good hearty German beers . Lovely and friendly staff . Can be a little expensive if you have all three courses ( if you have room hehe) as a mid week treat . but generous portions .
Hands down my favourite restaurant in Kingston! So great to see a German restaurant who does proper authentic food! Been coming here for years and had many many lovely meals out here… The restaurant itself is located by the river a little south of the main part of Kingston. The restaurant is also l
This place was great! Authentic German restaurant with nice outlook over the river. Wait staff dressed accordingly and everyone was very welcoming. It’s very meat based (as would be expected) but they have some veggie/vegan options which my friends enjoyed. I had sausages, mash and sauerkraut which
We love Steins! The food, atmosphere and staff are spot on. Have been to Richmond and Kingston - will need to pay a visit to the London location soon. The mash is so creamy! The sausage cooked to perfection and the beer plentiful.
Excellent location adjacent to the river, helpful and friendly staff, authentic Bavarian/Austrian cuisine, I and my mother had the Wiener Schnitzel which was heavenly, wonderful German bier and a Black Forest Gateaux to die for, in the words of Graz's most famous son...'I'll be back'.
Everything I have tried from this place has simply been amazing. The food is delicious, drinks are good and the staff is super friendly. Very nice view as well. Would definitely recommend this place, specially around Christmas time. Every time I visit, I love it more.
Exceedingly friendly service inside a cost restaurant/ bar serving import beers and good food to pair. I had the currywurst and my partner the municher sausages, we both agree we would have it again. The apple strudel was also good.
Fantastic food, as usual, lovely service and good beer. But nearly £90 for a 2 mains “Pork shoulder and Munich sausages “+ 3beers and 2 glasses of wine We understand rates of inflation are a bit high but we used to pay a lot less for what we had 🤷‍♂️ It's one of my favourite spots in Kingston 🙏
THE place to go on a sunny weekend day. We love the terrasse, and the food anyway. Can be really crowded though
Very friendly staff. Food was great, we had pork knuckle and sausages. Baby friendly as well! Riverside, super relax.
