A true gem. The coffee is amazing, I liked it so much I bought some beans for home. The food savory and sweet is absolutely delicious. The service is wonderful, the owner is so sweet and welcoming, I want to take him home with me, he serves you himself and makes you feel at home. The seating outside is lovely and the atmosphere inside is gorgeous, has a warm homely feel and very tastefully decorated. Can't wait to visit again.

I tried this lovely cafe today. The atmosphere was great though there’s not a lot of sitting area inside. Food was ok they have quite a lot of choices from savoury to sweets. Lots of cake flavours available. Coffee is also good. I had a chorizo and cheese croquette which was served warm and pastel de nata which is nice and creamy. The service is superb as staff were very nice and accommodating and they give a very personal touch to the service. Overall a nice hidden gem at the Griffin💎.

We enjoyed the most amazing portuguese carrot cake and flat white coffee's. Lovely friendly people would go again and again. We also bought some bottles of wine.

This is a really nice place, was recommended by a friend for their red wine and homemade cakes. We went there in the afternoon and ordered a few things to try. We had green tea and espresso, Red wine, cheese and chorizo snack and cheese snack and walnut cake with caramel sauce. They were all AMAZING. I was very impressed by their house wine (Red)🍷 , it was the best red wine I have ever had. Tasted very good, everything was just right! Their cake was delicious and fresh and fluffy. All the snacks were good and coffee was good as well. The owner is lovely and very friendly and welcoming. He made sure that everything was fine and he exactly knew when to serve what. We sat outside and it was lovely. We definitely definitely go back again. It’s such a lovely place and we are happy to find it. It’s a walking distance, a few minutes actually from Kingston market. Very convenient location

Found this place by accident, what a true gem in Kingston city centre. The staff is absolutely lovely and helpful. The pastries are beautiful and there’s an amazing selection of high quality portuguese wine, priced reasonably!

I love it. Whenever you miss your last holiday in Portugal, come to Mimosa to revive the Portuguese flavors and take your thoughts back to your holiday's. Delicious home made food. The owner is very friendly. This is my new place to go when I'm in the neighborhood.

Shopping and eating here is a delightful experience all round. Primarily a Portuguese delicatessen, but also having several small tables with comfortable seating, there is an extensive array of typical Portuguese food and drink products available to take home, but also a very nice menu of simple, typical homemade dishes perfect for a quick lunch, including the option of a glass of wine. As well as the very tasty small hot dishes, the coffee and cakes are excellent. Service is friendly and welcoming.

A Portuguesa! 🇵🇹 Portuguese in a Portuguese cafe. Our favourite café in Kingston normally for some sweet treats (very specifically the pastéis de nata of course) and coffee, it's good to surrounded by produce that takes me back to some of that feels from my last trip in Lisbon. Great spot for a quick lunch - we've tried a variety of savoury pastries and the chorizo bread. The soup of the day (we tried a sweet potato) went down a treat too. Wonderful folks running the place - smiles always to brighten up the day 😀.

Gem of a place! Lovely pastries and savouries. Very friendly staff. Always willing to help with menu and advise - that's how you learn about food from different regions! My wife and I had their Pastéis de Bacalhau today, the salted cod deep fried fritter style is absolutely one of my favorite ways of enjoying bacalhau. Finish off with their natas + chocolate and coconut cake. They have an excellent selection of tinned goods from Portugal – check out their sardines! I am impressed with their wines. Nice location too! - Kingston Riverside is a short walk away. Plenty of picnic spots along this stretch should you want to picnic here
