Amazing Indian cuisine awaits you, at this demure restaurant. Delicious satisfying traditional Indian food served in a family feel atmosphere. I have eaten here on numerous occasions now, and the quality of the food and service has always been of a high standard. The venue is licensed, with a great selection of Tassie wines, at reasonable pricing. Tell them that Harvey sent you :))

An exquisitely clean and attractive premises hidden away in Kingston. Delicious meal served in an elegant manner with careful presentation, the curry was not overdone and rice cooked perfectly. Nan bread to the same high standard. Prompt and polite service and reasonably priced. I shall certainly go again and try some more of their menu!

I would give them zero star if I could because the restaurant is ripping off customers. Too much price of any food, entre or dessert and in return you get a penny size of the item you order. Please avoid this restaurant if you want to avoid disappointment. Very less quantity and overpriced. Looks like a kind of joke. Look at the portion of gulab jamun for $4. Simply ridiculous.

Best biryani we have had in Australia so far. Value for money, quick and admirable service. Would love to visit the restaurant again in my next trip to Hobart

The curry tastes so good as well as the long grain rice which is not too dry or too soft. Malai is my all-time fav and I think they do the best for this in Hobart! We had a nice dining experience with superb service too 👌🏻

I ordered food at 8pm as they were packing down. The chefs didn’t look to happy and the result was luke warm food and a completely different dish to what I ordered. Very lazy and all it does is ensure I won’t be going back there again. The servers were nice though.

Really Dissatisfied, I have been coming here and supporting this restaurant for years!! We ordered a chicken curry and a beef and potato curry, flavours were fantastic not saying it wasn't but the chicken had 2 pieces in it not enough for even 1 person, the beef had 3 bite size pieces in it with 2 half of potatoes wouldn't even serve one child plus I ordered a large at a extra cost !! We had a serve of rice 1 roti all this for $74.50 absolutely disgraceful 😫 I rang to tell them this wasn't good enough to be told they had a new girl on and this was the reason why and I would be given a refund. I rang up again to be now told we won't give you a refund! This is not good enough for the price and then having to cook our own dinner . No refund and we will replace 1 curry. Will never return and will be letting others know not to go hear feel completely ripped off!! And by looking at all the other reviews it is the same story shame on you ! I don't often write a bad review I will go to the place where I've had a bad experience and let them know which I did, and it was handled poorly which is why I am now writing this. So other people don't get ripped off

The food gets worse from bad every second time. Ordered, for takeaway, biryani, tikka masala and tikka(all chicken). None stood out. Reckon, it were more like mashed potato with a lot of oil as gravy.
