Had my daughters 5th birthday in the function room at the Heathside it was a perfect venue for it. I was able to go in early to decorate. The buffet was great quantity and quality for the price and the staff were amazing and helpful. Definitely recommend. Thank you Tash and Paul and the kitchen manager Jonny.

We came for breakfast as where staying in the Premier Inn next door. All you can eat full English and continental selections had plenty of choices, they where refreshing as soon as something was running out. Cannot fault it for the price, and upto 2 children eat free so £9.99 for 1 adult and 2 children is amazing value. Filled us up for the day anyway. Would definitely recommend and come back if staying local again.

On yesterday's August Bank Holiday, we had organized a large family gathering at a different venue, involving four carloads of adults and children. Unfortunately, due to unexpected short staffing, that venue remained closed until 5 pm. In a bit of a predicament, we contacted The Heathside and spoke with the manager, Paul. Despite the short notice, Paul graciously accommodated our group. Our experience continued to be wonderful as we placed our order with Sophie, who showed exceptional patience given our large group and the fact that all our food was on a single order. The drinks machine was out of order, and Sophie handled refills with a cheerful smile, which was truly remarkable considering the size of our group. Tony, our chef, also made an appearance to ensure everything was in order before he started preparing our meals. The food that arrived was not only tasty, and well-presented, but it was also served hot and promptly. Regrettably, we didn't capture any photos of the food. We had 3 steaks on the order, all had different cooking preferences and Tony delivered without any flaws! Throughout our visit, the manager, Paul, was fully engaged in serving and maintaining the tables. He went above and beyond, readily answering our pre-order questions and effortlessly addressing any concerns we had. Even after placing our order, when a minor query arose, Paul tackled it with ease. During our entire time at The Heathside, it was the three exceptional staff members - Paul, Tony, and Sophie - who turned the situation around. Their efforts saved the day and made our family gathering experience truly memorable. They deserve all the credit for their outstanding service and hospitality.
