My favorite pub, foods are nice, staff are very friendly and they very professional and toilets all nice and clean.. I'm happy to recommend for everyone and experience a five star The Kingswood Arms πππ
This is the only place I would eat Ribs, they are the best. Lovely staff and very friendly x
Lovely pub always made to feel welcome by the bar staff !!
A really lovely place to spend time. We sat in the gardens which are really well maintained. Almost every person ordered a different dish and the food was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious!
A lovely surprise to have a giant Connect 4 to entertain the kids for a bit!
Loos were clean and well stocked. There is plenty of parking with disabled parking available and there is an accessible route to the gardens which helps too.
Highly recommend!
Beautiful pub to go for lunch or dinner, whether indoors or out(weather permitting). Nice choice of food on a large menu. Recommend the Ham Hock for starters. Can't remember the dessert but it didn't last long!
My first visit to this pub in Banstead was lovely experience. It was busy and staff had a lot going on, but we found them helpful and attentive. This pub is huge it has lovely gardens out in the back and also a bar for the garden. The menu was very good and I had the battered haddock and thrice cooked chips. Being a big appetite because portion sizes are very good. Good selection of hot and cold drinks. Staff were friendly also the patrons, this is a dog friendly pub so I saw a number of well mannered dogs. Would I come back? Yes definitely, thank you Kingswood Arms for a lovely afternoon.
We had a girls lunch on Sunday. Most of us had Roast and 2 had the vegetarian nut roast. We were looking forward to lovely fluffy Yorkshire puddings as seen on others' plates but the veg roasts came out with hard brown balls!! These were apparently vegan gluten free!! As was the cauliflower cheese side dish. We asked to have them exchanged as we only don't eat meat and love all the traditional roast accompaniments, and there was no mention of having Vegan sides served as standard with the nut roast on the menu (although clearly great for vegan diners), and they had established there were no dietary need/allergies when taking the order. They apologised and brought huge fluffy Yorkshires immediately. The roasts were all tasty, generous and great veg selection. Could have been hotter. (Vegan/gluten free could be offered on menu as option, just as a suggestion). But lunch was delicious and we loved the mini pudding with coffee/tea option. It was great to satisfy our sweet craving without being too full.
Those who had a full sized dessert were treated to very generous portions and all were delighted.
( Atmosphere was somewhat marred by screaming babies, but I guess that's a hazard on Sundays).
We had a generous time allotted at the table, and the waitress secured us a lovely snug area where we could have more coffee and continue our chatting after we left the table. Will definitely go back. Will definitely have the nut roast again (minus vegan sides!!). And if food a bit hotter will definitely get full 5 stars.
What an amazing pub! We went for drinks and we really enjoyed the garden. The food smelled really good so Iβm looking forward going back and try it. Staff were lovely and helpful. They do live music twice a month.
I cannot say how good the food was because the roast stopped at 7:00pm which was not advertise. Since we wanted a roast we moved to another pub.
However, the service was brilliant and the atmosphere is sublime.
This is just an unfortunate circumstance I think should be made aware of with the roast. I will be back soon to experience the food!
Nice pub. Pretty busy on a Saturday night but lots of space in the restaurant. Food very good.
Very good quality meals and presentation, excellent service from staff. Really enjoyed our lunch. Thank you.
My husband and our two year old twins went to this gorgeous pub for the first time. What a brilliant experience! The grounds were beautiful, the food lovely and all of the staff members were professional, kind, friendly and helpful. I only managed to catch one of their names which was Orla - everyone else working with her, especially on such a hot and busy Sunday, were fantastic. Thank you x
Great chilled evening catching up with friends . Restaurant a lovely environment, a little empty , however it was a Thursday evening . ( August 3rd)
The restaurant room is great , really nice vibe with nice lighting / tables .
The two ladies who served us were absolutely lovely and had great customer service skills . They both went out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed .
Will defo return and recommend to others . Thanks !
Lovely food, wide selection of beers/lagers, staff were really friendly and chatty. Will definitely be back
We have just moved into the area from Windsor. This is the first pub we have been to and we were not disappointed.
In regards to the food I can keep it short and simple. We had the pork roast and everything was spot on. Absolutely no complaints tasted amazing. I will have confidence in Any dish I choose to order in the future.
Beer was so so so clean. The other half was a big fan of the wine selection too.
I have seen people stating they have been given fines for the car park. The moment you go into the car park, there are signs everywhere showing this is a car park for customers and you would need to input your registration into an ipad upon arrival. I must admit my other half completely walked past the ipad, whereas I saw it and input our registration. ( Ipad is located as soon as you come in the front door on your right hand side) We was then welcomed and told to head to the restaurant area. The first question we was asked was, "Have you input your registration into the ipad". After food, we had a drink in the beer garden again more signs stating to register your registration if you had not already.
Dog friendly also. Plenty of well behaved dogs outside. At the front entrance, there is also dog treats and toys.
We had sam and kayleigh looking after us and they were fantastic. Welcomed us nicely got us seated straight away.
Honestly, I can't fault the place in any way, shape, or form from what I experienced on my visit.
Looking forward to heading back there very soon.
The Sunday roasts were excellent. The whole roast chicken for two, with yorkshires and multiple veg was huge and tasty. Staff were friendly and accommodating. I'll definitely go back another day of the week, to try the main menu.
A large, spacious classic pub with a large outside area/garden.
Clean and tidy, staff were all friendly and helpful.
Great if your holding an event or bday.
Big carpark.
Definitely worth a visit
Worth for the architecture and British atmosphere. Food average, but not disappointing.
It has nice outdoor and indoor areas.
They serve main stream beer/ales as well more 'underground' ones.
Their special dish: full rack baby back ribs, comes from a soulless bag unfortunately. They just add the BBQ sauce and a bit of oven, hence the lack of real tenderness.
Worth having a look of you're near.
