The staff was very nice and cooked last minute burgers for us although the kitchen was almost closed. The vegetarian Burger (Tree hugger) is okay but nothing more. The patty taste familiar from the supermarket, but there was something special missing.
We stayed at the hotel and came over here for a drink and food. Easily the best fish & chips I had our trip in Scotland and by far the best view.
Best chips I ever had ( and I was a senior chef working from rosettes restaurant ) best pie I ever had too, so rich and tasty! Reasonable prices. I'd recommend. We're coming back tonight!
Great food (steak pie was great and the mac n cheese was some of the best we've ever had), welcoming staff, cold beer, amazing views. Great stop! Try the gin if you get a chance, it's made on sight and is so good
Had a lovely meal here the other night. Highlander burger was very good. Dog friendly had treats and a bowl of water brought over to the table. Nice cosy atmosphere. Staff were very good. Only criticism is not a great deal of room around the tables but still recommended by me and what a view at the
A good place to stop for pint and haggis we got in quite late around 20:45 and we were worried that we won't have meal but bartender said that it is not a problem and 10 minutes later we had our meal. we walked 13h today and the amount of food was enought to satisfy Guinness was lovely and cold T
Really good traditional food in a relaxed bar with amazing views of the loch. Menu had a good selection including local dishes such as a burger with haggis and black pudding and haggis neeps and tatties with whiskey cream sauce. Also had an extensive wine list and plenty of beers on tap. There was
Awesome place The bartender (didn't catch his name) was MORE than accommodating for our group of 5 that walked in unplanned. Great burgers and lovely whiskey There's a set of dominoes in the back room also
It was average. Food was decent, bar staff was very friendly. There was a big football game on the big screen. A couple was playing pool.
We visited here after a long hike and really enjoyed the experience. The views are magnificent and the staff were welcoming, friendly and very accommodating. The food was throughly enjoyable, we hope to visit again.
The view makes your meal even better ! A lovely local bar with very friendly staff. Best chips i ever had in my life! Burger 4/5 was a bit dry but still tasty. Well recommended after a hike day.
Been numerous times over the years so nice we keep coming back. The Highland burger is lovely and it's dog friendly in the bar area.
I headed to Bothy's bar because of the positive reviews about its beautiful scenery and it did not disappoint. I dropped by after a long hike around Glencoe. The drive was quite beautiful as you travel up Lock Leven. We missed the turning (look for MacDonald's Hotel). We only stayed for a couple of
Great bar with welcoming staff. They are dog friendly 🐾. There is a good selection of food on the menu and great selection of real ales available- just what you need after a hard day hiking. The view is as good as the burgers! 👍🏻
Absolutely beautiful bar at the square end of Loch Leven. Felt magical to eat there and watch a thunder storm come in and out over the water. Great deck and big spacious bar with pool and games. Amazing food, even during their limited pre-lunch menu. Lovely service and staff!
Went here at our guest house host advice. Advice from the locals tend to be great. Friendly staff, good bar menu, local beer and a breathtaking view over the lake. We even saw a deer eating like hundred meters away
