Lovely staff greeted us with a smile. Attentive server quick service and a great lunch. What more can you ask for? They had fun Halloween decorations around the pub as well.

We drove for 7 hours to come here on holiday and booked a meal for 4 because we drove past the pub and liked the look of it. Can’t say enough good things about our experience, a class act and food to die for. I always love a beef roast dinner and I wasn’t disappointed- best one I have ever had. High

Since the place has been taken over, it has completely changed for the better. Good atmosphere and good affordable food to boot. There is live entertainment most weekends and a good selection of spirits. Nice open fire during the winter months, and dogs are most welcomed. If you haven't tried it yet

Had a family Sunday Lunch here, very friendly staff, quick service. Food was very tasty and arrived hot, always a bonus. Would have liked at least one light pudding, Pavlova or Sundae otherwise would definitely recommend this Pub, and will be back next time we are in the area.
Arrived for lunch wasn't busy. Excellent service and good selection from the menu, gluten free options available. Would return pity only located place before leaving to go home.
Been a couple of times now and the food is always excellent and really good value for money.
The Sunday dinners are amazing, the meat falls apart as you cut into it, a definite place to visit.

Friendly atmosphere and staff. Comfy surroundings with an open fire to warm the toes as you warm your hackles with a fine range of Malt, Gin, wine, beers and of course coffee. A meal served with a smile and you can always cheer yourself up with a little "blether" or banter with the staff.

Visited today for Sunday Lunch, food was fantastic, portions were hearty and very tasty. Service was swift and the staff were very friendly. Very cozy and warm with an open fire. What more can you ask for on a cold winters day.
