They have a wonderful selection of local and own-label products, as well as beautifully designed homeware. The on-site deli and restaurant were equally impressive, serving up delicious treats.

Lovely place, beautiful setting, great coffee and scrumptious cakes. Despite some previous reviews it is definitely dog friendly outside, large covered area with heaters and plenty of water bowls. Dogs are not allowed inside though.

Beautiful location, lovely setting for the cafe, and great food. We only had drinks and cakes. But the menu read so well and I really wanted to stay for lunch too.

Good outdoor play area for children; good walks down and around the loch, level pathways suitable for all walking level.

Getting the coffee from the wee cabin was slow. There was only one girl on duty and she was cooking the fresh pancakes and sorting the coffee. But overall worth the wait.
I visit here regularly as it is local, the food is generally lovely and the shop is nice. Coffee and cakes are nice. A bit disappointed that the menu has changed as we always ordered the French toast with bacon which isn't on offer anymore. There is an Eggy Bread option but not with bacon and maple.
Had a lovely afternoon here..so much to do and see.. the shop is great ..there is so much to look at and buy..cards, books,toys, kitchen ware, confectionery, candles, ornaments.lost of food, alcohol.. to name but a few..the Larder Cafe is table service.. food is lovely.. great choice ..also another
Had a wonderful lunch of homemade soup and bread in the main dining room followed by a cup of tea while curled up on a comfy sofa. The food and service are both fantastic. Went to the smaller cafe had coffee and sandwiches sat outside. Beautiful setting had a walk along the Loch great for a few hours walk. Spent quite a bit in the shop as hubby spied a good whisky.
Finally made it to this beautiful place, the surrounding is just stunning and even the drive from Glasgow was absolutely divine. We got there for about one o'clock and most of the food served in the dog friendly bit was sold out, that was a bit of a shame. The children's play ground is so well kept
Great place to stopover for shopping and meals. The shop has a wide variety of products food, kitchen utensils, games,clothing, and much more.
The restaurant and coffee shop look over the lock with plenty of seating inside and outside covered and open .
There is ample free parking
A wonderful place to spend time in with family and friends.. there is a playground so it’s amazing for kids

Very impressed by the shop. I bought some black garlic butter and it was incredible. Everything I bought has been delicious.
I can't wait to swing by again for treats. I really recommend the fudge donuts and they're bread dips.
