Nice place for a meal.
Staff friendly and up for banter
I was part of a funeral party and it would have been nice to open up for us when we arrived. Granted they don't open until 12 however it was a sunny day and no shade was available for people in wheelchairs.

Top fans and regulars of the Kingsway and the staff and food are lovely. Defo recommend to anyone. Always clean and never have to wait long for food. Very kind owners.

Great food. Fair prices was a bit noisy with regulars but don't let that put you off. There wasn't any swearing or anything, just a few happy workmen.

Really pleasant atmosphere. Staff were welcoming and friendly. Menu is not huge, but there is still enough choice, and prices largely are very good. Portion sizes are large and the quality is good, I had a burger and chips and was very impressed and everyone in our group enjoyed their meals. A good evening and my first visit here. Definitely a place I will visit again. Not quite a five star review due to an error in service in which we had to ask for some of the items from a couple of dishes, corrections were prompt. Regardless, worth a visit!

All food used up plus deserts..
Monday nights is burger and home made chips..night.
All meats sourced from local butchers..barlows of nuncargate.
Not pre packed cheap meats.

Had Sunday dinner, here and it was lovely, beautifully cooked and so filling. The staff were amazing, so friendly and provided a great service. Will definitely be going back and can recommend their Sunday dinner.

Great place,very well designed inside,food was brilliant and the people very welcoming, I've never been before and i was very surprised at how nice it is there,will definitely be going again and 100% recommend anyone to go there.

Lunchtime 8oz steak, chips, peas, grilled tomato, 1 mushroom and a drink for £12, you can't go wrong. All hot and steak cooked just as asked for. It was our first visit but would definitely go again. Friendly landlady/ bar staff
