Had a blast at the Motorhoose and met.a few locals who were so nice and easy to talk to and to top it all I saw The Bashies playing there and boy what an evening that was, just a pity i had ro get on the ferry for 11.45pm but did ma age to see the band in the sister pub the nigjtbnefore which was quite unexpected but warmly welcomed...after working in the western isles the Orkney islands will have a special spot

A great pub, the best in Junction Road and for tens of yards around. I've got a very special limited edition souvenir pink Motor Hoose t-shirt that I wear on the odd occasions I want to be laughed at rather than pitied. Thanks Melba.
Got to the best pub in Orkney. Friendly staff, fantastic juke box and a motor theme. Pity there is no real ale but the Guinness is always spot on
always had a great time in here with friends...they have great bands playing...just a shame it wasn't a little bit bigger..but great atmosphere :)
Great theme bar with the emphasis on motors. Quite lively and very popular with the locals and visitors. There's a dart board, television screens and outside seating. Lots of old memorabilia featured throughout the building. Great place to go to

my mum and i stopped off here after a long morning of exploring and we were absolutely knackered. the service we received was wonderful and the pub was full of friendly locals. love the decor and coziness!

Next to the bus station so ideal if you have an hour to kill before your next bus. Wifi ok, staff seem preoccupied with the regulars so didn't get any customer service from them
I really enjoy coming to the Auld Motor Hoose, as it’s off the ‘main street’ it can sometimes be a little quieter so it’s a great place to have a pint and catch up with your friends. The occasional evening of live music is also excellent as it doesn’t seem to be offered in many places anymore.
Great spot. Isaac the bartender is fantastic. Other patrons were very friendly.

Fantastic place! Lovely warm welcome, great prices and open until 12 am, even on a Sunday! The bar staff were amazing, making obscure drinks as we requested (great jukebox too) :) Highly recommended, we shall be returning often. Come to the Auld Motorhoose for a grand eve of good times :)
