Just your typical fish and chips??? I ordered 2 fish cakes as I'm from the South and wasn't expecting Northern portions... home cooked and delicious, didn't need two due to their size but so yummy. Definitely recommend!

Working away and this place was only down the road. Had small fish and chips with curry one day. It was really good! Only let down was the portion size but I did get small to be fair. The second day I got a deep fried cheeseburger which was interesting ha ha. Not a bad place tho would definitely go

Last year when I visited knaresborough i tried here and it was the best. This year the first thing i had is this fish and chips, still it stands best fish and chips. Especially the chicken nuggets

Tonight after reading a lot about JR'S Yorkshire Fish & Chips Greek Gyros I thought I should take a walk down there, I'm certainly glad I did the staff were very pleasant & took my order for a Chicken Gyros, I have only ever been used to Pork Gyros in many parts of Greece before Athens, Corfu, Crete

Well pleased fish the best I have had for years my wife likes the fish cakes chips and peas vary good .
My wife said the staff are vary nice and friendly.
Just called in for a sausage and chips..the chips were cooked to perfection didn’t feel at all greasy..lovely and hot and very very tasty..
Excellent covid precautions taken, clean premises and very friendly staff..
