We have to stop here whenever we come to Knaresborough. The cakes are amazing, and the staff are lovely. Always up for a chat and advise on what to order. The carrot cake was the nicest ever! And my son recommends the gingerbread
Delicious and good value. The pork pie with apple on top today was great. We got sandwiches too and brought home a Victoria sponge to eat with cups of tea - so light and tasty.

We just dropped in during lunch time and got lovely served: a grilled ham and salad sandwich, a chicken breast salad sandwich and a divine cream croissant… it was just delicious!!! Had been wanting to go in here for a while, it was closed last time I visited so today I stocked up on a few items. Buying one of their bread and butter puddings was a must, and I got one of the large meringue tarts too. Nothing has any prices on, so the total was a bit of a shock, I had to go back

We visited Hirsts during a family break in Yorkshire February 2023. This is the best bakery I have ever had the pleasure of walking into and eating from! Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Best to visit at end of holiday, take an extra suitcase for supplies to take home!
