Excellent roasts, lamb, pork and chicken.
Good portions of veg, nice decor and good service.
Very reasonable prices.
They also specialize in Spanish and Italian dishes
Well worth a visit.
We had a great meal here this week for a family member's birthday. The service was excellent, they were always readily available. The food was good although the calamari was a little disappointing and didn't taste of much and the batter was slightly undercooked. HOWEVER, the rest of the meal was brilliant and I'd recommend this restaurant.
The New Inn provided a very comfortable stay while visiting family in the area. It offered good value for money and was exactly what I had expected. The staff were welcoming and friendly and it was nice to enjoy an evening meal (highly recommended) and a pint in the restaurant before retiring to bed. We booked the cheapest single rooms which were basic (as expected) but clean and comfortable. The decor in my room was a little tired and could do with a freshen up, especially the bathroom, however everything functioned as it should. I will definitely stay at the New Inn again when next visiting. Thankyou to the staff for a nice stay.
I ate here as a party of six adults for a Mother's Day lunch and was really pleased with our decision. The restaurant squeezed our booking in at their only available spot and warned that we only had the table for two hours but at no point did we feel rushed and ended up having the table for closer to three hours. The menu was a special set selection but everyone easily found something they fancied within the selection. Amongst our party we ended up trying most of the starters, mains and puds on offer and there were absolutely no complaints at all. The waiters were all very pleasant and jovial as we deliberated over our choices, so the included 10% service charge felt well deserved. The single only draw back was that we were sat alongside a large family group with numerous small children who were loud and poorly controlled, frequently getting under the waiters' feet. I wouldn't say it's a place for children, but saying that, the waiters handled their demands very nobly.
The food was absolutely incredible, staff very friendly /correct. I've bin her before, and must say it was very good the other time also. Will be back as soon as possible. 👍
Went for lunch here and got more than we bargained for. Starters and mains delicious and plentiful, and we didn't eat much for the rest of the day. The staff were friendly and genuinely nice people.
Have not been here since it was The Old Devil Inn.
Very pleasantly surprised had a great evening, very good quality food, a nice atmosphere will be going again in the not too distant future, highly recommended.
Had a lovely meal beautifully cooked. The desert trolley was the best. Friendly polite staff. Would recommend this place to eat.
Amazing. Really nice tasty food served experly and professionally we were a two but there were large tables having christmas gatherings. Well wirth booking and visiting.
Good Italian food, though no one on the table tried the Spanish tapas. Well worth a visit
Lovely old pub, food is great aswell. Large garden out the back with tables and a children's playground.
