Just had a lovely lunch here. The staff were friendly and LGBT-positive. The food was tasty and clearly home cooked. Proper big mugs of tea. Allows dogs. Perfect for a rainy day and a stop on the way to Skye.
Went for a coffee late this afternoon and it was closed, but, the 2 lovely brothers serving, made us drinks and we also had lemon drizzle cake which was beautiful. The boys let us sit in and chatted to us and made us feel most welcome. Several other people came in as well and were catered for. Well done guys you finished off a lovely day we had in the Kyle of Lochalsh. Please drop in and see them for a warm welcome.
If you're looking for a quick snack or a meal this provides delish food. The coffee was particularly wholesome with a solid flavor. Homemade & enjoyable.
Lovely little cafe with fantastic staff. Stopped there to get out of the rain and enjoy a quick drink and cake - immediately some Scottish hospitality made us feel at home. The cakes are all homemade and have a delicious range of flavours. There is some cooked food available like pasties, sausage rolls and soup (nothing fancy but good for a bite to eat). It looks less appealing (not sure why) from the outside than the other cafes in Kyle of lochalsh but I would definitely recommend a visit.
This place is the business!
3 hungry removal men enjoyed scooping up the big breakfasts a couple of weekends ago!
Full bellys all round and that's not easily done.
A class act and we look forward to visiting again!
Cheers, Kyle

This place is an adventure,in progress. The excellent host and owner, Ayla,is a legend in his short life, even now. I had chunky vegetable soup, and I hate to say it. No I can't, okay ,it was miles better than mine.. So all I can say, go there the food isn't fancy but very good. Takeaway is also available,if required. I did have some photos but, can find them, for some reason.
Visited cafe with my partner on 6, 7 and 8th of July 2019. The food was cooked and served to perfection. Staff very Scottish and lovely. They informed us of places to visit and times to avoid. Most importantly they educated us on the one lane roads especially to Glen Brittle on the Isle of skye. Thank you all very much and we will be back to see the pleated beard again lol x
Delightful wee café offering good coffee and very tasty snacks, including pasties, toasties, and soup. They also do a substantial all day breakfast (including haggis, black pudding, and square sausage). The cakes and scones are delicious. A very good option for breakfast or lunch.
They didn't have any brown bread, so she went across the road to get some for my bacon sandwich. The bacon was from scratch rather than re-heated. Well done 😊
This is actually a quaint and cosy restaurant, offering tasty dishes, perfect for exhausted hikers, who will have a great time listening to a merry mixture of Irish and Scottish music. Very helpful and sympathetic staff.
