I can’t fathom why this restaurant garnered such low reviews on Google. My husband and I were here for dinner last evening and we found both food and service to be great. This restaurant appears to be one of two choices within Kyleakin. We were there on an errand, so we didn’t make a booking. At 7pm, the restaurant was close to full but the owner made it a point to try to get a table for us even then. Having been turned away at other establishments before for not booking, we really appreciated the gesture. We weren’t particularly hungry, so we ordered the cullen skink and the super salad with halloumi. The cullen skink was freshly prepared and chockful of potatoes and leeks, but it was the super salad with the deliciously panfried halloumi, chickpeas, quinoa, oats and rice over salad that surprised us with how tasty it was. We also ordered their chocolate & caramel torte with vanilla ice-cream and the strawberry cranachan. Both were good, but I really enjoyed the chocolate & caramel torte. It was rich, creamy and chocolatey and the raspberry compote added a dimension of tartness that balanced out the flavour. Even though they were busy and running at full capacity, they did their best to tend to everyone in a friendly and efficient manner. Our food and drinks all came very quickly with little wait time.

Great place to stay! We stayed just overnight, before boarding a ferry to Harris. Rooms are very adequate, with tea/coffee making facilities, we had enquire twin rooms and restaurant offers plenty of choice, with even a vegan option! Dog friendly so great choice, should you wish to bring your furry companions, even she got treats and fresh water in the restaurant!

On our first evening in the area surrounding Skye, we were unaware that almost all restaurants don't take bookings at all and most of them have a line waiting outside the door to get in and get a table. We walked in to this restaurant after driving past it and decided to give it a try - not only were the staff able to find us a table on short notice, but the food tasted amazing. The langoustines in particular were very, very good - well cooked.

The hostel was a fantastic find! From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel right at home. The vibrant common areas were perfect for meeting fellow travelers, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. With its central location and affordable rates, it's a top choice for anyone seeking a memorable and budget-friendly stay.

My wife and I had a sudden plan of visiting Isle of Skye. We couldn’t find any other place available in the short notice however we got a room in the Saucy Marry’s Lodge and the view was amazing. It’s room was clean and tidy with having a sea view. The check-in process was smooth. The person available at the reception was really helpful. I forgot the key inside the room and locked ourselves out, he was really quick to assign a new key for us.
