We played Lamlash today in perfect condities. The greens were slow but playable. Arran's Old Course at Lamlash is a delightful 18 hole par 64 golf course offering a serious challenge for golfers of all abilities. Set on the hillside above the village of Lamlash, there are some spectacular views overlooking the Clyde Estuary and the Ayrshire coast. With its lush fairways and beautiful greens, Lamlash Golf Course really is a “must play” course in the west of Scotland.

Called in for a meal following recommendation from a friend, despite a function already being catered for, Duncan and his colleagues could not have been more accommodating. Excellent food, friendly staff and environment, will definitely call in again when next we visit Arran.

Absolutely beautiful course that was in excellent condition. Made better by the scorching hot weather and stunning scenery. Club house was brilliant for a beer after our round. Friendly staff. Will definitely be back.

We played it in April and the greens were looking promising for the rest of the year. Lots of fun for the advanced and challenging for any new golfers. The gentleman in the professional shop was also hugely friendly and could not do enough to help us. Would have given 6 stars if possible.

Excellent golf course but very hilly. I hired a buggy which was very needed.

A great wee course with fabulous views. It is hilly but forget buggies and trolleys. Take a bag with 5 clubs and enjoy the walk. (You won't need a driver or long irons). Greens are in great condition. Look forward to coming back !

Excellent short course. Very hilly, so certainly not easy walking, but some very pretty holes makes the effort worth it.

Played golf with my husband on Sunday which was lovely and sunny. We hired a buggy as we remembered that it was quite hilly. How could we not remember the fabulous views! Golf course was in great condition. We thoroughly enjoyed our game.🏌️🏌️

Challenging golf course with spectacular views. Worth every penny of £15 midweek fee. Steep hills but wonderful vistas. Can't wait to go back, even if midges still there. Greens need work but otherwise top course with no 2 holes the same.

Course was beautiful and my husband and his brother-in-law had a great time, challenging, picturesque and one of the best courses on the island! We had a takeaway from their kitchen of fish and chips on our last night and it was amazing! Best I've ever tasted and totally worth a try, can't wait to go back! Staff were really friendly and kindly gave us some tartar sauce and vinegar to compliment our dinner! Highly recommend Lamlash Golf Club!
