Popped in for a couple of pints, great atmosphere. Excellent range of drinks and the staff are really friendly.
5* would reccomend.
Food is very nice. By the way, the website menu is out of date.
Food took 30-40 minutes to come which is a bit on the long side, especially since there were only two other occupied tables.
We had lamb, Texan burger, and cod. It was all nice.
The toilets need a revamp, they're run down and don't f
A community pub with bags of character and characters within. A real pleasure to visit. If you're visiting and looking for a typical Welsh village experience with good food and drink, you can't go wrong. And if you're local, it's a great hub.
Quite big inside with plenty of seating.
Parking at the b
Great pub! We popped in for a quick pint with our two girls and they couldn’t have been friendlier.
Found this place via Google. It is a a proper traditional rustic pub. Do not be fooled, the food is out of this world. If you are passing and in need of amazing food, stop here and you won't be disappointed.
I Stopped by for food as I was on a campsite up road, food was good as was the the ale , about £14 for both....had Nice chat with the barman too. Thanks .
Lovely busy little country pub and the food is delicious!
Fantastic freshly cooked food at a good price. Friendly service in a nice little pub. Some language from the drunk locals a little colourful! The chicken in the chicken, bacon and mushroom pie was lovely. Peas tasted great too. Highly recommended.
Lovely community pub with friendly staff, particularly supportive of me as a Welsh learner. Offered Welsh lager, which is often hard to find. I wish I lived closer, but it's a long way from London!
The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Not a great selection of alcoholic beverages, 2 lagers, a couple of ciders and no ales on tap. Food was good for the price, we had a wonderful evening.
Community pub run by friendly local people. Great beer, good pool table and good car park.
Definitely worth a visit.
Lovely, friendly, popular local tavern offering a good selection of commercial and local ales. Food is really good too, proper ‘pub grub’. Two areas to the main bar with a separate room with pool table and darts board.
Really helpful and friendly staff and the food is nice. The menu was a bit limited but all of our party enjoyed what we ordered. Recommend
Huge piece of beer battered cod was delicious as were the home cut chips! Great atmosphere, friendly staff, proper locals pub but made to feel welcome, bit of banter as England has just lost to Scotland in the rugby... Chocolate brownie with salted caramel was amazing, the sticky toffee pudding was
Lovely meal again this weekend, bit limited on choice but what we had was very nice. Cheesy garlic bread was best ever had 😍
We have eaten here on many occasions in the evening and always a warm welcome and the food is great, so we tried the Sunday lunch, it was fantastic, brilliant.
Fantastic food and great service 👌
Stunning food. Full of atmosphere. Proprietor was a lovely man. Next time in Wales well definitely be going back.
Good Sunday lunch in a traditional, historical pub. Good parking. Efficient and friendly service. Evening meals served most days. Booking advised.
