Wagon And Horses - Lancaster - Photo album

Such a lovely hotel. We booked for a two night stay, Sunday and Monday, and were impressed from the first minute we pulled up outside the W&H. The location is excellent, which is just a short walk from the main hub of the town, along the river. Dan booked us in and was super helpful, letting us know
We stayed for 3 days for our daughter's graduation. Totally recommended. Comfortable, clean, well located. Great breakfast and the possibility of having lunch, dinner or having a few beers in the Pub. Special mention to the friendliness of all the staff
Lovely, small hotel. Clean, good decor. Rooms comfortable, shower perfect and soft beds. Good location and reasonably priced. Good food. Caters for GF. Friendly staff. Near town centre/train station. Would go back again
Lovely little pub and great service. We was meant to come for breakfast this morning but we slept in and had to leave for home so we was gutted! Will definitely return when we are in the area
Nice place, cleverly lit. Good beer, friendly welcome. Food is good though I didn't have some on this occasion and the pictures of six rooms look like the sort of.places I'd enjoy staying. A nice place to spend the evening or return after town. rumour has it a good breakfast too from 8 daily.
Visited here for food. Not an amazing selection of Vegan, but what is on the menu is tasty , well cooked and well presented. Staff behind the bar were really friendly.
After a few hours exploring Lancaster walking back in to town along the river we were ready for a sit down, drink and food. The Wagon & Horses ticked all our boxes. Comfy seat, a lovely drinks selection and tasty pub grub. Young chap serving was courteous and on task
Just went for food on a Sunday, very late afternoon, two very pleasant bar staff were working and it was a nice, friendly laid back atmosphere. We all enjoyed our food.
Great pub with excellent food and just a leisurely 5 minute stroll to the city centre. Worth checking out if you're in the area 👍
Perfect location for a weekend away in Lancaster. Excellent value for money.
Lovely place to stay, the staff were awesome. The lady on the breakfast was very pleasant and accommodating. The room was lovely too and so was the breakfast. Would very much recommend staying here. Only a five minute walk into the town. Very quiet and peaceful
Had a band on the night we went, which was really good and the staff were lovely.
Best freshly cooked breakfast anywhere very helpful and friendly staff all round very good
I stayed with a friend in a twin room. Comfy beds and very clean. The breakfast in the morning was wonderful. Great location next to the river, far enough away from the noise of the town but close enough to walk home after a few drinks. I loved my stay at the wig on and horses, I would stay there ag
Brilliant pub. Stayed for 1 night and staff very helpful. Room small but comfortable. And one of the best full English breakfasts I've had for a long time. Highly recommended
First time visit for us and we loved the place .old mixed with new character decor and very well presented tables for our meal. The staff were really pleasant and timed their service really well giving time for choices to be made. It was a good casual atmosphere but the food was top class with great
