“Our recent visit to The Greaves Arms in Lancaster was nothing short of exceptional. We gathered a party of 14 for a memorable family meal, and from the moment we walked in, we were met with warm hospitality and a welcoming atmosphere.
The pre-ordered meal for our large group was executed flawlessly, a testament to the careful attention to detail and commitment to excellence displayed by the staff. My personal choice, the rib roast dinner, was an absolute delight. The flavors were immaculate, and each bite was a savory journey.
The service was outstanding, and the staff went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction. Their attentiveness and friendly demeanor added to the overall enjoyable experience. The ambience of The Greaves Arms provided the perfect backdrop for our gathering, combining cozy and inviting elements to create a relaxed yet sophisticated setting.
In summary, The Greaves Arms exceeded our expectations in every aspect - from the culinary expertise showcased in the meals to the impeccable service and the inviting ambience. This is undoubtedly a go-to venue for a remarkable dining experience in Lancaster. We eagerly anticipate our next visit to savor more of their culinary delights and exceptional service."

Fast and efficient service, a new girl was training who served us alongside another server and even the girl who was training was doing a good job.
The food here is always incredible and good portion size. I had a starter, main and drink which came to about £20 so it's great value for money too

Normally I would give 4 for this restaurant as we've been a few times. But Sunday lunch was just ok. Too much gravy and I like to see my food not see it all squashed together. Also I think you need to change your sausage supplier. They weren't nice and not cooked very well.and we had similar prob at the Keys.
However I would go again as I think the main prob is Sunday lunch both at Greaves and the Keys. All the other times the food was great.

Pleasant and Friendly staff, particularly helpful regarding dietary requirements. I highly recommend dining here. Child friendly. And the children's park in the grounds is great too!

A lovely meal in a pleasant, friendly atmosphere. Prices very reasonable. Seating very comfortable. Easy wheelchair access. A problem with one element of the meal was resolved with alacrity. Excellent service. Would highly recommend.

Attended on a Friday evening for a society end of year meal. The staff were incredibly helpful in running the evening and made adjustments to what we needed. The food was delicious, good portion sizes and for a very respectable price. The venue itself is a beautiful spot, especially with the garden in the spring evening. Overall, for this sort of occasion, it was a fantastic experience with lovely people and quality food all for a good price. We will absolutely be using here for future events :))

Abbi was our server. Her service was only outdone by her charm. The cask ale here is cared for, and served at a very high level. My mate, and I had the venison shin special, and it was ever bit as good as Abbi led us to believe. There were some screaming children that needed to be muzzled. Alas, we can’t blame the establishment for bad parents. However, I did take away a star from atmosphere because of it.
A great experience, and I would love to come back.

Turned up as a walk in whilst on holiday looking for a dog friendly place to east for dinner. Lovely accommodating staff nice relaxing atmosphere and very yummy food. The waiter even brought some water for the dog to drink at our table even though he was barked at! Very glad we went and would highly recommend.

An absolute gem of a place. Last minute booking after a trip to the castle and it was amazing. The staff were lovely and friendly, the place was bright and fresh with a lovely cosy sunday afternoon vibe and the food was to die for! I had the beef rib sunday roast and it was such a good portion. The menu was a good size, with so much i wanted to choose (another reason to go back) and there is a small park metres away for the small ones to burn off at bit of excitement after eating the ice cream sundaes ☺️ Definitely recommend!

A very beautiful setting. We had main courses, the mushroom pie is very good and the vegetables were cooked perfectly. I had a small pudding with a hot drink which was delightful.
The place is spotless and the staff welcoming and efficient. I had some clubcard vouchers, so I got a discount in the bill.
All in all a great visit with my daughter.

Been here once in the past and it was brilliant, great food great selection of drinks really friendly staff. Went the other day and food just wasn't right both steaks was cooked well done when asked for medium rare, and the fried egg I had wasn't cooked fully, but sure it was a off day! Everything else was really nice.

I previously gave the Greaves Park 3 stars based on various mixed situations that included Food quality, some past customer experience and I always maintained that if improvements could be made then the Greaves was an easy 5 star as the staff are superb, well hats of to Andy and his phenomenal Team as they have moved heaven and earth at the Greaves and it’s well deserving of a 5 star, yes as by his own admission things still need to brush up but honestly they are minor and behind the scenes, Food Quality is amazing, Customer service Amazing, Andy the Manager very approachable and honest which is a quality that is very welcoming and it’s an amazing place to dine again.

A lovely pub with friendly staff, we attended a family party and the buffet was delicious. They should definitely sell those sausage rolls! 😃

Went today with two friends, we all had traditional Sunday roast dinner. Service was good and friendly but the food was just not hot enough (all three meals) when it arrived at the table. This is basic stuff, someone obviously not paying attention in the kitchen.
Also the sticky toffee pudding came with a tiny dollop of ice cream and cream, just not in proportion.
I will eat here again, as the food is good, but for what you are charging customers, more attention is needed on the basic things.

Mick holt. My wife and I havej ust been to our local greaves park and had the worst sunday lunch we have ever had.Yorkshire pudding was soft and flat, the so called roast potato,s were jacket spuds cut up, gravy was greasy but not mixed correctly as there were unmixed brown lumps. It,s been a while since we have been, but it will be an even longer time before we go again. The only thing that was ok was the service
Jonathan
They do nice food at a reasonable price, well worth a visit!
