Neptune Chippy - Lancaster - Photo album

Brilliant chippy, the service was quick but the food was even better, really good chips and the sausage in batter was the best I've ever had, my wife had the fish cakes and said they're amongst the best she's ever had, highly recommended
Always amazing fish and the battered sausage are great too. I can't comment on the chips as I don't eat them.
My preferred fish & chip shop. Conveniently located on the route I use most days, but worth going the extra mileage crossing Lancaster for these on other days.
This has got to be the best chippy around Friendly staff and great food Definitely recommend
Oh my! This place is a must! Best fish ever, batter is divine! Chips were perfect, bit of a wait, but fresh and beautifully cooked, well worth the queue. Highly recommend!
Good food, good service! Defo recommend
What a lovely local chippy. Got a great jumbo sausage with chips and curry and is was delicious. Really reasonable prices and great serving sizes. Highly recommend :)
Come here often when we are fitting flooring up in Lancaster. Great service, great food
Excellent Fish & Chips, all freshly cooked. The Chips were nice and dry (not greasy) and the fish was lovely, with a nice thin batter. Friendly service also.
Wonderful traditional "chippy". The chips taste amazing and the pies and sausages are coked perfectly. They started doing contactless after the first lock down so no excuses not to go anymore! We are firm regulars as are many other locals.
My good lady and I live in Inverness, but have to make trips to Southern England for family reasons. On every occasion we always plan a roadstop here on return, for a delicious meal amd have never been disappointed. The Chinese takeaway nearby is also of the highest standard and they compliment eac
Really helpful intentive staff couldnt do enough for us went here today 16th june lovely area first time here definitely recommend 5 stars top marks. Great welcoming staff fabulous chips would come back here again and highly recommended enjoyable lunch. Reasonable priced food and drink too. Top Mark
A great little chip shop. We called in for some dinner on a bank holiday Monday and it was quiet. We had to wait a few minutes for fresh chips but they were worth the wait and cheaper than other chip shops in the area.
BEST CHIPPY EVER. Best fish and chips in town. When I'm at my hungriest they sort me out to the next level. Hodgesons is good, but it doesn't quite provide the delicious 'quality food ceremony' that Neptune's does.
Great fish and chips plus lots of other goodies. Kids menu available too. Fish always cooked to order so not hanging around in the warmer. Can get busy but service is prompt and friendly.
Fish is cooked to order I've noticed, unless it's the times I go in. Either way always fresh, really good portion sizes. Peas are good, I've had bad ones at other chippys in Lancaster
Great chips ,crisp and soft in the middle ,fish tasty.
Clean and tidy, Very good crispy chips, the curry sauce and beef burger was tasty for the price. I will call in the next time I am passing to try the fish. Thirty minutes parking just out side. 👍
Hidden gem amongst Lancaster chippies, which is blessed with many a great establishment. At none of the others can you get the great northern delicacy the John Bull though - rich savoury mince between two potato dabs encased in batter. Absolutely lovely!
