Thimmes Fish Shack

Food was excellent. I lived in coastal NC for many years and the fish I got in my sandwich was excellent. It was fresh tasting, cooked to a golden tan. It was as good as the fish I was use to get at restaurant that served fish which was off the boats. I got shoestring French fries hot, fresh and yummy. My order was delivered to my car. The lady who brought it to me was very sweet. Great experience and I would highly recommend Thimmes Fish Shack to everyone.

Friday night of Lent, decided to grab a meal at Thimmes'. Haven't visited in a while. Did not disappoint! Walked into order and placing an order was a breeze despite how busy they were. Very friendly staff and helpful. Food was absolutely delicious! We ordered the Deluxe fish sandwich, cole slaw, clam strips, and mozzarella sticks. Cole slaw was creamy but a bit overwhelming in the cabbage taste department. Clam strips, Deluxe fish sandwich, and mozzarella sticks are a must do! Will definitely go back!

No way this is 4 stars. Has to be all friends and family. Terrible and by terrible I literally mean the worst seafood I have ever had. Extremely overpriced cant buy a combo each item is sold individually to really jack up the price. The portion sizes are minuscule. The fish shrimp and clams were all soggy and obviously just local grocery store bought items that were purchased pre packaged pre breaded and thrown in semi warm grease. Nothing was flaky or golden brown. I'm easy to please and not a picky eater but I will not return here.
