Golden Chick

My mother wanted fish for lunch and suggested Golden Chick. Happiness certainly didn’t lie within my box. Is food served in a box ever good… 🤔 maybe but not this time. Waiting at the counter for a minute or so with no acknowledgement was a problem for me. My fish combo with corn nuggets was terrible. The thin fish filet offered very little meat and was disappointing, the corn nuggets were dry (tasting like they were a day or so old) & the roll didn’t taste like the good fresh Golden Chick rolls that we love. The restaurant wasn’t the cleanest. One good thing was the sports bar vibe. Not that it matters to me but for others, maybe. They offer patio seating but there’s not much to look at. Needless to say this wasn’t a good experience for me at all. My mother enjoyed her fish and cole slaw which she mentioned wasn’t as sweet as some others. As much as I love to clean my plate, I couldn’t clean that box😞. I have no intentions on returning because I shouldn’t have to request fresh food!

So today I went to Golden Chick for the first time. I heard the boneless wings were good, so I got the Korean BBQ boneless wing combo. I also got ranch on the side. I ate half of my meal as you can see. Each wing as I ate it, was dipped in ranch so I didn’t notice anything off about the taste, or that it was slightly cold. The rest of my boneless wings I cut apart because I just felt like cutting them up. I then saw this…raw chicken. I called the establishment to check if it was actually raw, or it was precooked and maybe just not heated long enough. Unfortunately for me (my stomach) it was raw. That means I ate half of my meal, and it was raw… The kind person I spoke to was more interested in how much of my meal I ate, instead of my health for eating raw chicken. Zero stars. I do not recommend this establishment. Be careful.

Just left this location. And I ordered two orders of nine piece wicked wings! One spicy! And one regular! My order was wrong. So I had to get out of the car and go in the store. When I went in I let them know that my order was wrong. The manager proceeds to sprinkle spicy seasoning on my order. Absolutely not.! That was the wrong thing to do. Make it over hot and fresh..! I will never ever do business with the store again!

Ordered food from Uber Eats and and 1 hr and a half later. Not only was the food cold, the order was wrong. The fish was full of grease when split apart, there was no fish inside. It was dried and looked old. It was not edible at all. I ordered French fries and got okra that's was undercooked and unable to eat as well. This is ridiculous that they would even serve somone food that looked like that. I was disappointed and definitely unhappy

OrderedFISH SHRIMP COMBO. 13.49 is the cost. 2 fish filets an 3 shrimp. Shrimp was delicious but fish filets were so old and crispy that they sapped when i tried to eat tjem. Oil soaked pieces of ffish. Just awful. So i paid for 3 shrimp, 2 sides an a roll which were good. Wl not order fish again. Will report to corporate an see how this is handled. I hv pictures of crispy filets to show them. This is not acceptaple. I am no longer using a drive thru. Wl go in, ck my order, then leave.

I have gone too plenty of Golden Chick but this one at 11:30 had No chicken's how can you have no chicken and opened at 10:30 after I placed .my order I was told it would be 8 min. This Why you Don't Do Business with Black People, the services you get just sorry , WHO IS THE OWNER NEEDS TO RE GROUP WITH EMPLOYEES.
