Review Organic Cafe @ The Sanctuary Of Healing - Langho

This is quite an amazing place. A haven of calm offering a meditation room, esoteric library and healing room, which can all be used free of charge as long as they are not in use. The Sanctuary also has various courses on offer, which are held in a large, airy, room and there are also practitioners offering alternative therapies for a fraction of the cost of a lorry of other places. The whole building literally exudes peacefulness and has a clean, calming atmosphere. As if that isn't enough, there is also a cafe selling tasty, wholesome food. If you need to escape the madness for a while, do yourself a favour and visit the Sanctuary.

We visited the cafe in mid Feb and it was wonderful. The staff were so polite and the food was excellent and they bake their own bread. It is worth a trip but I would suggest booking a table as it was Tuesday Lunchtime and it was getting full before 12.30. We are going again it's a gem!

I was recommended to come to this beautiful place a long time ago....but never went ...probably not the right time. Everyone must have a special place to retreat to ,well I have found mine. .....The ambience of the sanctuary, the history of how it came about, the exceptional staff and I have unselfishly decided to treat myself to a few treatments. They have a lovely organic cafe for drink or something light to eat....Nice for a run out...but you have to book your treatments.

The Sanctuary has a calm, welcoming, friendly atmosphere. I haven't seen the therapies upstairs for a long time but am sure they're still excellent. The reception and cafe were lovely - warm staff and delicious food. Thank you 🙏

Very clean. Also Caters for vegetarians, vegans, reasonably priced friendly atmosphere, very respectful and polite personnel. Peaceful and relaxing well worth a visit. Visit online to see other services. ie: yoga, tai chi.and others.

Great eating place in a peaceful setting. All dietary needs are met and the cakes are delicious. You can choose to eat " healthy' food" as there are lots of choices

Lovely building, great location, beautiful view. There's a real sense of peace that just makes you smile. You don't have to have treatments or attend classes to go there - try some of their delicious organic foods in the relaxing restaurant. No expense has been spared - even the loos are stunning!

Such a lovely place to visit everybody is so friendly and welcoming and there is an instant calm as soon as you walk in, one of my favourite places to visit 😊

I think the cafe should be open for at least another 30mins! Lots of business is being lost from numerous people who want to have a drink and a cake after treatments or classes! It shut at 2.45pm today! So that's why I've given it 4 stars instead of 5!

Great for a massage and some more unusual techniques to aid your general health and wellbeing. It has a lovely coffee shop for lunch too. Check the opening hours

Extremely popular cafe however the therapies and staff are the stars of the show. Certainly worth visiting but telephone first as booking is often required.

Amazing place

If I could give 10 stars I would gladly give it to the Sanctuary of Healing and its special helpers who emit such love and light! It's a great treat to have been to such a special place in the Ribble valley and feel the passion and dedication of the people involved in such an enlightening healing centre. Coming from Burnley myself , I am awakened to the vision of the place it has created in such beautiful surroundings. My wife who had a treatment today is completely awestruck at finding such a variety of alternative healing therapies and in a beautiful place with friendly, like minded people. Thank you to Tony Clarkson ( a fellow-Burnleyite!!) for creating this space of light and joy!

An Amazing place with a beautiful energy! I did the British Academy Of Crystal Healing Diploma here and have visited the organic cafe many times and been to the shop where I can never resist buying some of the tempting goods! The pyramid room is also really good as are the crystal beds and the lovely library with a huge variety of spiritual books. I could literally spend all my time here! :) <3

What an amazing peaceful place in beautiful surroundings. I had a weekend if NLP training here - it's only 20 mins away from where I live and I didn't realise such a beautiful place was so close by.

Had an amazing massage and came out feeling great. Such a tranquil place with fab people. The cafe area is beautiful and relaxing and the food is lovely. Would highly recommend.

Had an lovely lunch with my friend & an amazing treatment today with Tony. We have booked another treatment for next week . It's a lovely & peaceful place.The food in the restaurant is delicious. Highly recommend ed.

Today in the snow I was stranded on the A59 and was welcomed in to the cafe and given free hot drinks and a delicious warmed scone by the amazingly friendly and generous staff. Thank you to them all. The cakes looked delicious and the cafe was lovely and warm and clean. Thank you for being so generous.
