What a quaint little pub this is. I had a roast beef and it was superb, the meat was tender and the vegetables done to perfection finished off with a very tasty gravy. My partner had the lamb shank which just fell off the bone. The staff were very efficient, polite and helpful.

Best meal we have ever had out, been to many establishments but The Carts Bogg has definitely got a Michelin star chef working for them. Liam Crowe has got it mastered, we were shocked when we asked for the chef to praise him to find out it was my friends son running the kitchen. We will most definitely be back

My wife and I ordered the Bog Pie. It arrived hot and full with nice tender beef and a gravy that would have made a meal on its own. The accompanying vegetables were perfectly cooked (for me). All in all we were very satisfied.

I visited for the beer festival I had an amazing time on both nights I travelled from cheshire and it was well worth the journey.the staff are a credit to the management and I look forward to visiting next year for the festival or hopefully sooner thankyou for a great weekend that I'll never forget
If you have not had a Sunday dinner here since Graeme and Krystal took over recently then you are missing out! You would think they had been there forever! The pub gardens look beautiful, the pub was busy which is always a good thing and the food was just incredible the photos don’t do it justice at all. Even though the pub was full we didn’t wait long at all for ours and everything was perfect!
Can’t wait until they open more days again, we will be back!
Lovely Sunday lunch here. Booked a table for 12pm which I'd advise, it looked to get busier as the afternoon went on. Ordered the beef which was lovely, the gravy was very rich but I enjoyed it. Lemon tart was gorgeous for dessert. Only slight thing I'd say was service was a bit slow but I'd definatley go back.
We had a superb Saturday evening here. We stayed in our motorhome in the car park and were made to feel extremely welcome. The food was superb and very good value. The service was excellent including the attention our small dog received. Very friendly atmosphere, we will definitely be returning.
Food was fabulous, the best meal we've had in a long time. Our waitress was also fantastic. Will be returning very soon.

We stayed here via the 'Britstops' scheme for motorhomes. We had a meal which was excellent and decent value. Nice staff and superb surroundings. Well worth a visit if your around that area.
Popped in for Sunday lunch. Food was amazing with a big pudding for afters. Lovely views. Highly recommended and will be back again.

Came here for a friend's birthday and the three of us each had three courses, all of which were delicious. Came to just shy of £90 for the three of us. Would visit again.
