Stayed for a couple of days locally over Easter. Had many drinks in this pub, it’s great! Many ciders on tap and nice beers. We had a very good Sunday lunch here, having never been here before. Great atmosphere in the pub that has comfy sofas and armchairs next to the log burner as well as plenty of dining tables. Well kept beer and food that couldn't be faulted. Looking forward to visiting again.

Outstanding! We stayed here for the evening to break up a long drive from Kent to North Devon. Wonderful family room, pub was super friendly by staff and locals. Jazz band playing added to the atmosphere. Food fab, will be coming back!
Manages to squeeze us in and what a gem! Very friendly staff and gorgeous food. Our party had sausages and mash, steak, mushroom risotto and a fish dish, all said how tasty and well cooked they were. The sausages were the tastiest I’ve had in a good while. I’d happily come back and eat again.
