Found this one when I was on the business trip. My dining experience at The Drayton crown was truly exceptional. From the moment we entered, the welcoming atmosphere and attentive staff made us feel right at home. The menu offered a delightful array of dishes, each expertly crafted with fresh, high-quality ingredients. The room is good enough for 1 person, well it is not 3 or 4 stars so it is acceptable . The beer is also good, and they have a sausage dog as an employee. Highly recommended!”

Stopped here for one night. Very friendly, excellent room and good breakfast. They weren't doing evening meal but recommended a nice place in the next village that did gf options. Were happy for us to leave our car in the car park after we checked out so we could go off on our bikes for the day. Good range of beers and ciders at reasonable prices. Good outside space with play area for children.

Stayed for a couple of days locally over Easter. Had many drinks in this pub, it’s great! Many ciders on tap and nice beers. Really friendly staff and landlord, lots of outside seating, dogs everywhere and chatty locals. Then had a roast dinner before we headed home, which was seriously delicious! Would love to go back one day!

This is a wonderful place, stayed in November overnight for my husband's birthday. Lovely rooms, fabulous food, the staff are just wonderful, the decor and comfort is excellent. Really good breakfast too, even gluten-free for me! Thanks so much Mark and team, see you again February 11th as we are going to do it all again 😊 xxx

We had a very good Sunday lunch here, having never been here before. Great atmosphere in the pub that has comfy sofas and armchairs next to the log burner as well as plenty of dining tables. Well kept beer and food that couldn't be faulted. Looking forward to visiting again.

Lovely place to have a drink and chill with family the kids were safe running around the garden, sitting in bean bags and playing on the climbing frame

We stayed at the Crown Sat 7th Jan as per a recommendation from a local friend. Double Room for the night with breakfast £72 which is very reasonable. Staff were super friendly and helpful on arrival and showed us to our room. Some wiring issue seemed to be with the stairs as can be seen from the clip. We went for dinner with friends at 7-30 and that went really well. No photos from the evening as we were with friends. 4 people with drinks £200. The double bed was not as comfortable as I had hoped. Two single mattresses put together. I personally don't like this and I didn't have a great night's sleep. I understand that there are not too many rooms, and they have to be flexible, but that's my opinion. I prefer a double mattress, not two singles pushed together. The room was otherwise fine. Good shower with free toiletries provided. Breakfast was full English which was good, but we were not asked or given a choice on the eggs (poached, scrambled, fried etc). The staff were attentive. Sausage the dog was a massive hit though - so in conclusion I would say this was good vfm at £72 for a Saturday night stay for 2 with breakfast. One star off for the two single mattresses situation.

Arrived at the hotel much later than anticipated, missing the restaurant. All was not lost, as the host (Mark?) was kind enough to rustle-up a very welcome cheeseburger with fries when I eventually got there- perfect! Room was pleasant and immaculately clean. Staff were exemplary throughout, especially Rachel who prepared a delicious breakfast for me before departure. A proper 'Home from Home'!

Manages to squeeze us in and what a gem! Very friendly staff and gorgeous food. Our party had sausages and mash, steak, mushroom risotto and a fish dish, all said how tasty and well cooked they were. The sausages were the tastiest I’ve had in a good while. I’d happily come back and eat again.

What an amazing place. All the staff were so welcoming, friendly and helpful all through our stay. The room was spotlessly clean and everything we needed was catered for. The breakfast was included and was superb. Lots of outside seating if you want a meal sat in the sun or lovely restaurant if you prefer to sit inside. They cater for gluten free and other dietary requirements too. Plenty of free parking in their car park. We will definitely be returning. Would definitely recommend The Drayton Crown.

We stayed for one night here and we were really pleased with both the room and the breakfast. The room was excellent, clean, and modern and the ensuite shower again clean with a large shower cubicle shower head above your head or one on a rail. There was a portable fan in the room, tea, coffee biscuits, and water. The lovely lady who did the breakfast could not do more for us and the breakfast was very good. Just up the road in Curry Rival you can find some local shops and there are lots of walks locally.
