Broth Me

It has potential, but a long way to go I'm afraid. A huge chasm, (an old church hall), divided and furnished very well - eclectic. It appeared that the Staff were largely inexperienced and poorly trained. Our server was not able to hear most of what was said and the food that we received only very marginally matched what we ordered. She did not know her menu and gave incorrect information repeatedly. The food was a real disappointment. LCHF devotees have been waiting for this for years, but this isn't it, sadly! 😥 All four lunches were really cold, including the soup. The LCHF pizza bases were dry and old- I will have to teach them how to make them. The soup was good, a smallish serve, but good. Again not what we were told was 'soup of the day', but we enjoyed it. The other good meal was cooked mushrooms and vegetables, with haloumi cheese. All the things out of the cabinet were dry and disappointing. . We also noticed a lack of lots of items that were written on the glass which were 'not available', and it was only midday! The cake we shared was OK but very uninspiring and basic for the money. The cafe was 75% full the whole time we were there, so the response was there. We are 4 devotees, 2 said " never again" and the other 2 said "one more visit sometime'. I hope that they don't burn all the devotees before the get it sorted! 😢😥🤔
