Very friendly staff and locals. Chanced across it as theJamaica Inn was rammed. Anyone going down that way go here not there.
Great daily chefs specials, the lamb and mint pie is highly recommended as is the steaks and fish and chips.
First time visiting this pub. Travelled from Plymouth to meet the parents for a carvery. The staff are friendly and they always had a smile on their faces. Spent a really pleasant lunch time playing bingo. My friend and I usually go to a cafe for lunch once a month so thought we would try the lunch with bingo. It is well organised and very reasonably priced. The food was well presented and perfect portion. We enjoyed it so much it will be a regular
Excellent local pub serving great value pub food. Paid a couple of visits whilst staying in the village, lovely people. Fair range of drinks on the bar, all kept well. Well worth a visit.
Just perfect place to stay for dinner! Huge portions, excellent meat, pretty atmosphere and kind staff. Definitely will come back again.
Visited whilst staying at Roosters retreat. Little local with lovely atmosphere. Excellent homecooked food, I had the turkey pie and oh had fish and chips. Best pie I have ever had, would definitely recommend!
