Fantastic stay and afternoon tea with the added bonus of sauna steam room and vitality pool. Such friendly welcoming staff who were attentive to our every needs. Thoroughly recommend a vist and will definitely be returning

The food was of a high standard, both starters and mains were full of flavour and was of a nice size portion.

The very place is gorgeous, soaking with history and opulent. It was the attention to little details! As far as service was concerned, you felt like royalty, glasses topped up, attentive without being noticeable. Superb.

Excellent food and service. Tempura cod and chips was outstanding. I would go out of my way to come back for that dish alone.

This is just the most wonderful place for a lovely relax, especially in a heatwave! The staff are lovely & friendly; the food is amazing; and the ancient building so interesting with lots of nooks & crannies to sit, indoors or out. On arrival we were taken to our gorgeous room by Harry to find a card from the staff wishing us a Happy 50th Anniversary - what a thoughtful touch! The Weavers Spa here is just amazing, very new, modern & a real contrast to the surrounding buildings of The Swan. Again, such lovely staff - so skilled and putting us at ease with each treatment - we feel rejuvenated after all our aches & pains being eased away with lots of fun conversations! Can recommend Tegan, Louise & Georgina for wonderful treatments! The warm bubble pool is excellent and the heated massage beds so comfortable with arm rests too - wanted to take one home! Can recommend wholeheartedly- have already got a possible Norfolk friend thinking about a visit plus our youngest daughter ... just a massive Thank You to all the staff we have had the pleasure to meet.

I would just like to thank all the staff at the hotel & Weaver Spa for a great w/e. I came here for my 60th birthday which was organised by my friend for 7 ladies. It was amazing from start to finish. .We stayed Friday /Saturday evening. Spa was out of this world!!! The staff were amazing. Then a 3 course meal on the Saturday .. breakfast was also 5*..... The staff couldn't do enough for us... Well as for the rooms!!! Just beautiful. . We hope to come back in the bear future. . Also you must go in the plunge pool!! Thanks again... 7 very happy ladies... From Ipswich !!!!!!

Absolutely amazing!! Easy parking at the rear of the hotel, all the staff we spoke to friendly, helpful and attentive. When we got to our room(9) the staff had left me a birthday card which was a very nice touch. The spa is well worth a visit, Sophie was brilliant and I enjoyed my time spent in the sauna, steam room and outdoor jacuzzi. The evening meal in the main restaurant was first class.

My daughter and family had a meal to celebrate het 18th at the hotel. We were given a private room- fantastic service and fab food. Highly recommend xx

Had a brilliant stay with my mum and sister. Started our day in the spa, lovely intimate feel, gorgeous outside area (luckily we had good weather) and all the staff were lovely too. Great facials and massages, lots of little thoughtful extras. Then had a delicious 3course dinner in the gallery restaurant that evening, couldn't fault the food or staff. Comfortable stay overnight and then delicious breakfast this morning too with lovely staff again! Will definitely return.

Taken there by our grandson and partner for a treat.We had traditional high tea ,the food was superb.The staff were very friendly and attentive.Excellent service.Would definitely recommend it and go again.They were very patient and helpful with my husband who walks very slow,offering assistance all the time.x

Home from my first visit here! We enjoyed an exceptional afternoon tea today and was definitely the best I have experienced yet! I will be back to experience some food off the lunch and evening menu... Thank you for a lovely afternoon! x

We stayed one night for our 30th Wedding Anniversary, it was a lovely experience. The building was great and we had an evening meal which was excellent! The products from the Spa in the bathroom were very good sadly didn't have time to have a treatment this time. Would recommend the Swan and would visit again

Such a lovely find. The staff, Josephine, who took our request (as they were fully booked!) and the amazing Slovakian waiter who was delightful, and tended to all our weird and wonderful needs! Thank you for making it such a lovely afternoon. Both the ladies and gentlemen teas were divine!

This hotel is beautiful, the staff were brilliant & couldn’t do enough for us. Our room was lovely & had a very relaxing atmosphere, the food & wine were excellent. Shame we didn’t get to use the spa as we hadn’t booked & was busy when we were there.

What a fantastic weekend we have had. 2 nights in one of the most stunning buildings. All the staff went above and beyond. The spa was fantastic. We are already planning our next stay! Highly highly recommend.

You won’t regret, absolutely fabulous, staff are great, food excellent, venue full of history, but watch your head! - enjoy!

We booked the McCallum room for my fathers 80th birthday celebration lunch, the events team were brilliant throughout the process, the food was delicious and the staff attentive but not intrusive. The Cork/Underhill/Keeble families would like to thank The Swan for making this a special day.

Great lunch (£27.95pp for 2 course meal) A little more on the plate would have been nice, but not complaining.
