Booked for a Saturday evening. When going in the interior is amazing! Very beautiful decor, lovely for a date or even a nice dinner with friends. Food was very good, came out quick and was very tasty! Fresh and flavours were beautiful and well balanced. Only downside was the service that it felt that we got the feeling of being quite rushed, if they could improve that it would be a perfect experience.

We chose this restaurant for a post Graduation family meal, and it did not disappoint. The decor is very grand to go with the impeccable service. Really fitted our celebration meal. We all enjoyed our meal. Good vegetarian options too.

Nice restaurant and great service. Went there to celebrate a special birthday for 2 people on my table. They very kind and arranged for both cakes to come out at the same time. The food was good. My only negative are that I ordered the courgetti for starters but I think they gave far too much for a single person to eat. Or maybe state its a sharing portion. Also the bruchetta came with the tomato in a separate bowl which I think looked nice but it wasn't what we were use to. Beautifully decorated. Thank you for making the evening a lovely night.

Absolutely amazing restaurant with a stunning interior design from the excellent paintings on the ceiling to the lighting that accompanies it.
The choices on the menu leave you spoilt for choice, along with a superb selection of wines to accompany the excellent food. The staff were very attentive and went out of their way to make the visit very special.
The food came out promptly and was absolutely delicious 😋... I had the Spaghetti Vongole from the main course choices, and all in all, La Coppola scores 10/10 in every respect.
Another visit to be arranged so other delights off the menu can be tried.

Came here for my mum’s birthday with a group of five and from start to finish this restaurant was a five star experience. Brilliant staff, incredible food and a lovely atmosphere. Highly recommend. Will be coming again!

The duck tagliatelle was beautifully rich and creamy, the fillet steak was perfectly cooked in a very tasty red wine sauce, and the sides (cream spinach and truffle fries) were delicious.
Desserts were fine: the tiramisù was very light and airy, and not as boozy and creamy as what we could have expected. The chocolate fondant was perfectly baked, but the ice-cream wasn't particularly exciting (or simply overpowered by the richness of the chocolate).
Overall, great service, food and atmosphere. There was a little mishap with one of the food order, but it got fixed promptly and graciously.

La Coppola is supposed to be the best reataurant in town, and it almost lives to the hype. The food is really good and the ambient
/decor is absolutely wonderful. Prices are a bit high, but aligned with independent top Italian restaurants in the UK. Portion sizes were generous, and there is a great combination of tastes, but the presentation is average.
Staff were very polite but not everyone necessarily friendly. They got a drink order wrong and when asked to change, they said they would 'check' first before swapping for the right one. At the end of the meal after desert, we were offered Limoncello just before the bill, which is traditionally on the house - but instead there it was on the bill!
The ladies toilet was rather cold, with a broken flush. Both toilets had no hot water (which even Spoons do).

Lovely Italian restaurant with awesome decor and cozy atmosphere. Authentic Italian fare, that delivers on freshness and quality. I can the carbonara and it was delicious, and very true to tradition. Starters of anti pasti were amazing and abundant. Wine list is strong and high quality. Overall excellent. Service is a bit hands off, really great for private conversation and personal space. Tiramisu was also delightful. Will go again.

I think 4 stars might be a bit generous and I would definitely give 3.5 stars if possible and I would break it down as follows:
Ambience: 4/5
Food & Price: 3/5
I think the ambience of the place definitely exceeded my expectations for a restaurant that is based in leamington and the presentation of the food was quite lovely!! However, I feel like there’s a mismatch in terms of the price and the quality of food. While the food definitely had a level of standard to it, for the price I was paying I was a bit disappointed.
My friends and I got Bruschetta and Calamari to share for starters. I quite liked the Bruschetta but it can get a bit messy when you’re trying to scope the tomatoes onto the bruschetta. The calamari was slightly less flavourful than i thought it would be.
For the main I got the duck confit pasta as my main, i’ll recommend asking for more pepper when they bring the pepper grinder around so it’ll have more of a kick in flavour.

What a place to celebrate our 9th year anniversary. Picturesque, clean and romantic. Andy (André) and his colleague who attended to us were really amazing. They were all smiles and humble, they made sure we enjoyed our stay and kept our table clean after every meal we had. All the staff from the receptionist etc were all respectful. I had the best surprise mocktail, it was awesome.
Thank you La coppola!

A wonderful restaurant in the heart of Leamington. This place truly deserves 5 stars for the quality of the ingredients, the exquisite courtesy of the personnel, and the sublime atmosphere… but… I gave it four stars because of how those ingredients are prepared in the meals that they serve. Don’t get me wrong, the food here is far from being bad, but given the effort, the quality of the meats and fish used, the experience of the Metre d’, it is a shame that some of the cooking is over complicated with too many ingredients which rarely mix well. Let me give you an example, I ordered the melanzane alla parmigiana, it was wonderful and as good as my Italian grandmother used to cook, but also I ordered the fegatini di pollo… which were tender, fresh and abundant but cooked with sweet red dessert wine and Barbeque sauce… I had to ask the staff about what it was the sweet tangy smoky flavour.. at first I could not believe that someone would ruin such first class meat in this way… but then the lamb arrived ( I ordered slow cooked lamb), the meat was cooked to perfection over I am sure many hours of lovingly attentive care… but then it was laid down on a inedible concoction of cheese (seriously???!!!) mashed potato, bbq sauce ( again) and some other herbs I was unable to identify. Lamb is such delicate flavour, how could someone possibly think to associate it with such strong flavours? The result was that I had to scrape all the condiments and ate the lamb which was of another planet for quality and cooking and it would have been a crime to let it go to waste. So mixed feelings really, this restaurant could be of Michelins star quality but it is let down by some ( not all) over complicated dishes with too many condiments which don’t go very well with each other. I will go back for sure in the future as you should do too, but please, when you go, candidly ask the staff to indicate you which dishes contain bbq sauce and ketchup and avoid those dishes!
Final note: price wise it is extremely reasonable given the quality of everything, portions are very big for a restaurant of this calibre and certainly one does not starve after eating here, so I wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone, and I am writing this review in the hope the food will get increasingly free of tangy, smoky, sweet sauces… ;)

It's a rare treat to find a restaurant as fine as this in a town centre these days. It is stunning inside with very attentive service that merits a proper pat on the back! Don't get me wrong this is not the place to go if you're on a tight budget but spoil yourself and try it out, the lobster I had was stunning, the best I've had inland.

Lovely food as always, but some of the staff could be a little over-zealous when it came to pouring the wine for you.
