We booked today for a Meal for my daughters 18th, and even with us adding another six people-20 total- nothing was too much trouble, food and service excellent, even prepped birthday cake and when they brought it back they sang Happy Birthday, we had a fabulous time with our family and will always come back . Thankyou from the Dunns and family xx

Food was excellent. Staff were great. The Christmas decorations were amazing and the santa grotto was the best I have ever seen. What a fantastic experience for me and my family.

Food was really tasty, staff were really friendly and service was fast. Would've been a great experience had it not been for all the flies flying round us as we ate (inside). There was a notice outside saying they are aware of an issue with flies and they had taken steps to deal with this. I do understand its not an immediate fix but was still unpleasant. Other than this would have been 5*****

It’s a pretty standard pub but it wins for parents with kids for the fact that it has a children’s playground in a large beer garden. Perfect to have a drink, munch some food and watch your little ones play and make new friends. Had the Sunday roast which at $16 for two is great value. Not bad but also nothing special. Ordered at the bar and food came out quick.

Food was lovely. There was an issue with one meal, chips were cold when they arrived. But the staff, albeit quite busy, were so lovely and rectified the plate without hesitation. Will definitely go back. Thank you .

Have been coming for breakfast for a couple of weeks now and what’s not to like. Breakfast is good. I had eggs on toast, orange juice and a large coffee. My friend had a full English. It’s not for everyone but it suits us due to the locality as we were walking. Service is quick , we were there at 9.30,the staff are very friendly and Sonia helped us with a query that we had. Great customer service! Thank you!👏👏

Really good overall. We came on a Sunday early afternoon, it was busy but we were a walk in and got a table straight away. The food was served quickly after a fuss free ordering process and it was almost perfect, no complaints. Uneaten food can be bagged up and taken away to eat at home. The atmosphere was relaxed and really friendly. Football on the TV which preoccupied the children.

Food was absolutely spot on, I had the salt and pepper chicken skewers with chips & onion rings, tasted lovely and really fair priced. The show stopper as pictured was The Project D Doughnut desert with fresh cream and Strawberries, really took me by surprise as it tasted better then expected. If you want cheap grub, good atmosphere and outdoor play area for your kids, check this place out.

Tasty food, plenty of it, cheap prices, family atmosphere, friendly staff, served quickly. The Quadzilla burger and Home Run burger were epic! :) Special thanks to the front of house meet and greet staff member, she was really helpful, with a very personable manor, you can tell she loves her job! This place is perfect for a casual relaxed family/friends meal.

Very disappointed on this visit. Star rating is on food this evening otherwise would of scored at least a 4. Chicken in burger overcooked so was dry so was beef burgers. Steak was very chewy. Rest of food was ok. Never had problems in the past with food as always been good . Service was good staff helpful and polite.

My high rating is based on the fact that this is a no-frills, reasonably priced family friendly pub/restaurant/sports-bar who's staff are fast efficient and friendly plus serve a wide selection of very nice meals. We like it for big family meals on special occasions etc. I wouldn't recommend it for a nice quiet romantic "dinner for two" or a serious business meeting with clients I was trying to impress!

We came to the Royal Horse on Monday with 3 children. The member of staff on the Bar was so patient with us as we tried to work out the best deal for our Food Order. She went through all offers, made suggestions and found us a cracking deal which meant the children even got dessert with their meals! We were very impressed not only with her knowledge but her very helpful demeanour. The food was plentiful and we would have no hesitation in visiting again. I promised I would leave a review and here it is!! Thank You!
