Vera's Kitchen - Lechlade - Photo album

Recently had an amazing stay at this little gem of a B&B. We travelled over from Kent for a weekend to meet with friends, and my husband found Vera's Kitchen. We stayed in The Stables, and the room was lovely. We arrived quite late due to the travel over, but we received a message from the hosts to
Nice and clean room (we stayed in the stables), friendly staff and fabulous breakfast for a very competitive price! I was both excited and worried about booking our first trip away with our baby but I have to say our stay was perfect. We had a great evening tasting tapas in the patio (tasty, interes
Absolutely love this place, unfortunately have not stayed but couldn’t wait to return to the restaurant after lockdown. Camped nearby at Bridge Campsite but dined twice in one day met a group of friends for breakfast and then returned for tapas. Both meals were delicious, good quality ingredients
There is no doubt that the room and breakfast is excellent. The fast WiFi was essential for planning my days as phone signal was sketchy when out and about. I had mixed feelings about this place. The B&B feels the secondary business. Most B&B hosts are welcoming, ask about your visit and offer sugge
My wife and I have just spent two nights at Vera’s B and B. What a fabulous experience. We stayed in the Hayloft which was nice and warm and lovely. The breakfasts were fabulous. But most important, all of the staff were welcoming and friendly and the service was first class. Thoroughly recommended.
Fantastic place to stay, the little room we stayed in was clean and the towels smelt fresh and lovely. We had a small problem with the sink draining but that was looked into immediately. The breakfast was amazing and the staff very friendly and helpful. A thoroughly lovely place to stay.
Went for breakfast at around 9:30 and was seated immediately. Staff are so kind and service was very quick. Food and drinks were amazing, all freshly prepared with local ingredients. Definitely recommend!
Stayed at this B&B whilst doing the Thames Path walk. Excellent coffee and cake. The breakfast, included in the rate, was great. Lots of choice. Would recommend the Veggie breakfast. There is a small courtyard to the side in which to sit and have your drink/ meal and which also leads to the 3 rooms.
Lovely night in the Stables, gorgeous breakfast as always. We have known Vera's kitchen since our first date in September 2015 and visit them for breakfast a few times yearly. As it was my partner's birthday, I book us a room as a surprise birthday gift to him. Breakfast Al fresco in the sunshine w
Popped in for lunch. We had lovely burgers, and the tasty original gangster and shooter sourdough sandwiches. All the food was fresh, the meat locally sourced. Friendly staff too.
Good food, very generous portions, reasonably priced. Excellent coffee. Courteous, efficient, helpful and charming staff set an example for the whole catering trade. Stable room pleasant and quiet with a large comfortable bed. Heating adequate in less than ideal weather. Thoroughly recommended.
Lovely cafe with outdoor seating in the courtyard at the back. The staff are friendly and helpful. Food and drinks were freshly prepared and absolutely delicious. I would particularly reccomend the beef burger and ginger/carrot juice. Also the salted caramel milkshake made a fabulous dessert.
Popped in today as we were delivering bags for some of the Thames walkers . The staff were lovely, very friendly and helpful. We ordered the breakfast burritos to take away, and they were beautiful. Would highly recommend popping in if you're in the area, you won't be disappointed. Well done guys Sa
Only had lunch in the cafe but a really tasty burger and huge egg, bacon and chips sandwich plus 2 cappuccino for £21. Very nice! Only criticism - the wooden boards they were served on were a bit too small to Ke ep all the bits from escaping! Really prefer plates anyway.
The staff were every friendly going above and beyond to help us check in earlier than the usual time. The rooms were beautifully designed, the beds were comfy and cleanliness was to the highest standard. The breakfast served in the morning was exceptionally good especially with freshly squeezed oran
Had a lovely coffee in Vera's kitchen. The café is beautifully decorated and has a wide selection of tempting treats and snacks. The staff are also very friendly and helpful.
This is the second time my partner and I have stopped here for breakfast. Each time the visit has been amazing. Great service, great food. Lovely outdoor seating. Well worth a visit
Just popped in for coffee and a piece of excellent almond cake. Nice location just down the high street 10 mins walk to the river Thames. Might stay next time in the Bed and Breakfast upstairs.
Lovely to have Vera's open again. My friends had soup and I had beetroot, feta and hummus on sourdough. Thoroughly enjoyed it, good pot of tea. Friendly service. Did not have cake but they all looked very tempting!
