Had the best brushetta I've ever had, they got it just right! Lots and lots of tasty, fresh tomatoes and lovely sour dough bread with the right amount of salad leaves with balsamic vinegar dressing. We shared a piece of Victoria Sponge as we were full from the brushetta but it looked too tempting an
A beautiful spot by the river, quintessentially English with a fabulous choice of food and drink, it all sounds delicious! I have a dairy allergy and was overjoyed to discover a vegan lemon drizzle cake on the menu; a sublime slice of baked heaven. Alternative milk was also available so I could enjo
We were en route from seeing our daughter in Bedford to West Devon avoiding motorways. We needed a break with a snack rather than a big meal.
What a find. Delightful folk behind the counter, fabulous food made freshly in house, vegetarian toasties and pastries. There is outside space but we chose to
Great croissants. Dog friendly. Decent decaf coffee.
Lovely place and very child friendly
Lovely little cafe, had a very tasty cheddar & chutney sandwich with a coffee. Staff friendly with excellent service. Nice location, would definitely recommend 👍🏻
Popped in for a lovely coffee and a gorgeous brownie which gave us some much needed fuel on our 55 mile ride...
An ideal pit stop on a long cross-country drive. I parked right in front and looked at the river while enjoying very good coffee and an absolutely fantastic raspberry tart.
We so, so, needed something cool after an eight mile hike in over thirty Celsius. The café has outside seating with some shaded tables. The ice cream was lovely. So was the raspberry lemonade. Good café.
Lovely lady owner, beautiful decor - really quirky / vintage . cosy sofa by the fire. The carpark need to be paid by ticket, but you can get that refunded by the cafe. Great riverside setting. Outside seating for the summer months too.
Totally delicious salads freshly picked from a local garden set the scene for the very best cafe I can remember visiting.
Four wonderful visits mean we go there from 35 miles away and then decide where to go for our afternoon expedition along the upper Thames.
A simply wonderful place if you care ab
Great service. Went above and beyond by adapting a coffee to my taste.
There was a group of 6 people in front of me in the queue, and because of that one group, if I ordered food I would have had to wait 20 mins (they can't handle more than 2 sandwiches at a time).
Regularly come here with my partner instead of going to Costa or Starbucks. The goats cheese toastie with plum marmalade is amazing. They do great coffee and tea for a fair price. A very lovely place to come in the warmer months.
Went during half term, very friendly owner and lovely cakes and croissant, lovely view and open during Covid lockdown for takeaway. Just one small thing that the cup sizes are a tad small for the prices ☕😢
Nice welcoming. Great coffee (from Rave). Had a super pesto chicken salad. Really fresh homemade pesto. Will be visiting again. The cakes look so tempting.
Very friendly, small cafe. Ideal stop on a cold, wet Sunday. Simple menu that looked great. GF cake options and plant milk for coffee - very good!
