Spent the afternoon in Leeds and had heard about this place, it's won a Good Food award this year. I booked a table and we ordered a chicken schnitzel, which was one of the daily specials and a veggie burger, we shared a Polish apple pie with ice cream after. Ive been lucky to have tasted great home cooked Polish food before, but this was amazing too. Everything tasted fresh and had so much flavour, the attention to detail was tip top, it was more like restaurant quality food. The veggie burger has to be the best I've tasted and the chicken was hearty and flavoursome too. The way they present there food with flowers or the drizzle on the dessert looked great 👌 There is lots of parking in the streets nearby and it's not too far from the centre or the motorway by car. The prices here reflect the quality and presentation of the food served. The decor of the restaurant is nice and there is a relaxed atmosphere here. I would book in advance as each time guests left, another reservation arrived and that was Saturday lunch time. Thank you to Monika our waitress for the advice and attentative service and Lukas for creating these wonderful meals. I'll definitely come back again and highly recommend this amazing little restaurant to all 😁👌

Very nice, cosy, homely atmosphere. Friendly and professional staff, family run business. It's not cheap but then the experience it's all worth it! This food it's a heart and soul of Polish cuisine, with a personal touch from the owner who is a culinary artist. The taste brings all sorts of flavours and memories from your childhood (if you are Polish ;)) Lovely pickles and spices. The food is well cooked but also beautifully presented. ...and desert... Wow the blueberry cheesecake was something else! So light and delicious. Not too sweet, just right. I really enjoyed. Remember to book in advance to avoid disappointment, I was lucky enough to walk in and get the table between the bookings, not aware how popular this place is, especially on Sundays.

Driven past this place loads of times, finally popped in for lunch, glad we did. We shared a meat platter, a soup called Zurek and some garlic potatoes. The platter was Poland to a T, sausage, meat spread and cheese with pickles. And the soup was served in a loaf, like clam chowder, but with sausage, egg, bacon, potatoes and carrot. It's not often I find a dish I've not had before, but, I will be having it again. Excellent, thanks Neil, (he's the man behind the counter).

The warm welcome from the friendly couple who own the restaurant are only outdone by their incredible food and the passion that goes into providing truly excellent food. We really enjoyed the personal touch of being able to chat with the chef about our food as we ordered. We tried the pancake, pierogi, and zurek special and thoroughly enjoyed every bite of each dish - this place is something really special.
