We have eaten at nearly all of the Thai restaurants in Leeds and our first time at My Thai (York place) has made it our favourite. The early bird offer we had is excellent value and the quality of the food is 1st class. Definitely worth the visit into Leeds City centre for.
Don’t judge until you have tried it.
My wife and I nearly walked away
Because it was down some steps hidden
Glad we went in.
Been here a few times now and it is fantastic. Great options for lunch and evening, food is packed with flavour, good portion sizes too. Waitresses are really friendly and food is served quickly. Tamarind duck has become a personal favourite, the pork dumplings and fish cakes for starters also have a personal recommendation.
Visited this amazing restaurant on a Friday night without a booking but the owner managed to squeeze us in. This restaurant serves some of the best Thai food in Leeds! The Massaman Curry was delicious, and the Khao Soi was great.
The staff were attentive and patient, given such a busy service, and the atmosphere was bustling. I'd recommend booking, but if not give them a ring and I'm sure they'll squeeze you in!
Venue: Small and I would advise booking. Managed to squeeze 2 of us as a walk in on a Thursday night.
Service: although at capacity was great and very attentive!
Food: Garlic rice was a new one for me, a great new one! Tofu was beautifully fluffy pillows of fried glory
I am Thai and I loved everything I had, friendly staff, and delicious authentic Thai food. 10/10

Definitely come back.
An excellent small restaurant with delicious food and attentive service. I took a work party of 15 here and they did an excellent job of serving everyone quickly. We even arrived before opening time and they allowed us to dine early.
The food was excellent. I recommend trying the sample platter as a starter as you can taste a bit of everything (spring roll, chicken
satay, fish cake, pork dumpling, mieng kum, crispy prawns, and a corn cake). As a main, I ordered a pad Thai and I was also very happy. I did not take pictures on this occasion, but would definitely come back!
This is a very small restaurant in the basement of one of the buildings along the road. Down a narrow staircase from the street. The restaurant is cosy and was busy when we arrived. The food was very tasty and well prepared and presented. Service was quick and welcoming. Definitely worth overcoming the external impression to go in.
The Tom yam soup is brilliant and if like a bit sweet flavour curry then this is where you should visit. The restaurant is run by two Tailand women and very cosy place for one person, two people or friends gatherings.
This is a small but very good Thai Restaurant in Leeds.
The restaurant is down in the basement so take extra care with the steps in and out. The top step is higher than the rest so watch out.
The food was amazing and so delicious. There was only 2 staff on and the restaurant was busy but the service was slick and quick.
The gents toilet is very unusual, I think they ran out of space and just squeezed it in. Larger gents like me need to go in side ways.
All in all a very good restaurant and one we will go back to on our next trip to Leeds
Ordered green Thai curry, tom yum soup, red curry and rice wasn’t included need to order separately. Red curry was good not too spicy but green curry was a bit too spicy for me to handle. The staff was nice enough to reduce the spiciness for me by adding more coconut milk in the sauce. Service charge will be included in your bill
