Skylines is amazing, not only do they have the best food anywhere on the planet, they have the best staff and excellent service. Varied menus, gluten free options, beautiful desserts and to top it off a licensed bar 🍾 The takeaway is cooked for you and they offer excellent meal deals 🎉 You would be mad to not go here ❣️

We had an excellent meal the portions were good the fish was very fresh and so white I enjoyed every mouthful, good service too. I highly recommend the Skyliner.
Just had a fabulous night at the Skyliner, best f&c’s around. If you’ve never been, give it a try, you won’t regret it. Shout out to the staff aswell, always a happy bunch ! You can’t beat a chippy tea !
Lived opposite throughout my childhood and never eaten in the restaurant until last night. Absolutely gorgeous meal with the family, fantastic service and even tried the alcoholic dandelion and burdock. It was all lovely! We will be back again soon, thank you �
I recently heard of a dish called "fish and chips" so decided to try it and I can tell you it tasted lovely..chips are potatoes cut up and fried in oil until they are crispy and fish is a creature that lives in water which is killed and dipped in batter and fried. This meal can be found all over England but in my opinion the "fish and chips" in this establishment is certainly the best I have tried. If you want to try something extra tasty then you can apparently add a thing called 'sauce' I look forward to having this when I eat here again soon. Well done guys
Every time myself and the family are over from Australia (usually once a year) we have fish and chips at the Skyliner. I took my parents on 23rd May and we weren't disappointed. Beautiful white haddock, crispy batter, proper chips!!! And to top it all Dandelion & Burdock!!!! Great service and very friendly staff. Brilliant.
Went for the first time last night and ate in the restaurant and the food was really good! we didn't have to wait that long for the food to be brought out, only down side is the prices to eat in, it's expensive for just fish and chips compare to take out!
Would definitely go again and recommend it to friends!

The skyline fish restaurant has been for me the best fish and chip restaurant on the east side of the city of leeds for as long as I can remember so that would be over 30year !! The fish is cooked to order so on peak times it can be busy and you may have to wait a little, but the staff are friendly and efficient to me it indicates just how good they really are

Well this was a pleasant surprise. Attended around 7pm, parked outside and was pretty busy inside. Order taken straight away and waited while order was cooked fresh. Chatty and friendly staff. Portion sizes were excellent and got plenty of scraps. Fish was thick and tasty, chips were thick and not greasy. Very tasty and enjoyable meal. Not sure how it compares locally price wise but it was very reasonable.
A super restaurant with great atmosphere. Waitress absolutely lovely. Good choice of dishes. Haddock excellent, as were the chips. I fancied a sweet but I was too full after the main course. The only thing that let it down was the vinegar. It didn't taste malty. That means that I didn't have that taste sensation that I expected. I would go again but I might have to smuggle in some sarsons!
Have been eating here for years. It's defo one of the best fish n chips in town.
I don't recognise any of the negative reviews. Portion sizes are large and haven't really changed recently. The good quality is excellent and they cater well for gluten free requirements.
4 of us came for dinner on Sunday, exellent as ever i really cannot fault this place at all. Food was spot on as always, kids had 2 clean plates so that says it all! Food was cooked by Danny, 10/10! Melissa served us, realky nice lass with top customer service, nothing is too much hassle, and she is great with the kids! This is our fave chippy by far, we came all the way from Selby. Keep up the good work guys.

Lovely lunch in the restaurant today. Staff friendly and helpful. Food was hot and we thoroughly enjoyed it. A variety of good deals on various meals, low cost meals for children. Very clean dining area. We were very impressed. Free car parking.

This was my first ever visit to Skyliner. Absolutely amazing fish and chips. Perfectly light and crispy batter and very big portion size. Spotlessly clean restaurant and very comfortable atmosphere and deco. Easy access up the slope into restaurant for people with poor mobility, grab rail on steps, all greatly appreciated. Waitress was very friendly as was other staff that I met. I would highly recommend and will definitely return.
Super, I bought it to eat at home, the portions are huge and I couldn't eat it all. The service was five stars, very friendly people.
Excellent place for fish n chips. Food is awesome. Its licenced if you fancy a pint, or they have Yorkshire Tea if you want a cuppa.

This was the first time I came here. Staff were friendly and attentive. Fish and chips were perfectly cooked and delicious. The place was very clean. Definitely deserve their reputation as the best in Leeds. Will be back again soon!
Came here for a birthday meal. I don't eat fish so I was glad to see they had a few other options and I really enjoyed my chicken burger. Vegetarian son had the Mac and cheese bites (they were a starter), as a main with some chips. It all looked very good and we had puddings too. My only comment would be that it would be good to have a few more vegetarian and vegan options as my son didn't have much choice. I appreciate that it's a fish restaurant but when you are a group, sometimes there's a vegetarian in that group.
Finally been in to the restaurant part of the Skyliner today and can’t fault a thing. I already knew the food was great as I’ve used the out-sales part of the business a few times but I found the restaurant to be clean, very well designed, warm and welcoming. The host who served us was fantastic throughout. The food and drinks were absolutely delicious too. If you plan to visit, I do recommend booking as I came around 1pm without a booking and it did fill up for lunch time not long after. I highly recommend this restaurant and will be back again in future. Thank you for a very pleasant afternoon with my dad. 👌🏻

I found my way to Skyliner and I'm rather glad I did.
I started with some breaded mushrooms which were nothing special but enjoyed all the same
I then tried the fisherman's feast. This was made up of scampi, squid, a large filo prawn and the best haddock I've had in an awful long time. The fish was beautiful flakes of perfectly fried haddock.
The food was washed down with a pint of draught lager which was fine.
Service was outstanding, all provided by our own lovely Leeds ladies.
The only downside was it was 8.30 ish when I left and I had eaten so much food. I should know better by now.

Just returned to Yorkshire from Lancashire after 5 years in the wilderness. Had read so many great reviews on Google and Trip Advisor. Had to try it to see if it lived up to the billing. A MASSIVE Yes from me. Beautiful piece of Haddock, very fresh with thin crispy batter, beautifully cooked. Great chips and plentiful, mushy peas excellent with that distinctive Yorkshire flavour. A very tasty and reasonable lunch time take away. They now have a new and happy regular. Great friendly and attentive service too.
Excellent service from Sam, and Callum cooked the fish to perfection. We 3 travelled a long way to enjoy the food and was not disappointed. Highly recommended, friendly staff and lovely food.
