This place is a needle in a hay stack. If you require vegan and gluten free food this is the place, actually this is the only place i know that caters to gluten free, unlike other restaurants that don't give you a substitute this restaurant does, other restaurants will just retract the dishes that have gluten in it, I have always gotten a seat at this cafe. The cafe isn't one you will just walk past every day, you have to know its there. highly recommend.
Took my partner for lunch as he is veggie (I’m not but loving the food), passed this place and always looked inviting. Well what can I say the warm welcome and cosy ness was a lovely change and the food , wow, loved it all from the homemade soup, “the full bowl” was just that full of flavour. We could nt resist the rice pudding on the specials board as the dishes beforehand had been top notch and that did nt disappoint either. Really what a little gem for veggie, vegan and meat eaters alike . Will be definitely calling again.

We have been here regularly (pre theatre) for many years now. The menu continues to evolve and despite changes of staff in the kitchen the food is consistently good. Always check the specials board.
A lovely vegetarian and vegan cafe which is in a handy spot in Leeds city centre. The cafe is relaxed and cheerful with a tempting menu that includes snacks, starters, main meals, soups, salads etc. Open until 7pm too which is a bonus. You obviously don't need to be veggie to enjoy it, we aren't and we loved the quality/tasty food.
Really great little café in the heart of Leeds. It doesn't matter if you're not vegetarian or vegan, the food is delicious and inexpensive. We had the vegetarian breakfast and the chilli hot dog, which were both really good. Service was quick and friendly despite how busy it was. Highly recommended 👍
I adore roots and fruits! amazing vegan food, especially the vegan halloumi?! how?! SO GOOD. the staff are so lovely and I just love the cafe so much. keep it up guys
Delicious food, friendly staff who let us change our minds once ordered. Although as a meat eater I did feel guilty ordering diary milk.
My sister had the vegan breakfast which looked delicious, although I don’t get tofu scramble (texture wise) and I had the jackfruit. Surprisingly taste and texture. The sticky toffee pudding was incredible. I would come back again, especially for the pudding.
I really love this place. It has a huge vegan/vegetarian menu with an entirely vegan specials board which changes frequently.
The food is great - I had the chilli dog and it was absolutely delicious.
The staff are also friendly and the atmosphere is super chill. Would highly recommend this to anyone wanting veggie/vegan food in Leeds ❤
We had a lovely meal in this little gem. Amazing food options for vegans and vegetarians. The jackfruit was really tasty and the ish and chips very nice too. It was great to discover such a hidden gem and would recommend the restaurant. Shame I was too full to be able to try the churros or the vegan dessert.

Great food, lovely decor and atmosphere. Had a lovely all day breakfast with a cup of tea. All cooked to perfection and plenty of good flavours. If you spend less then 10 quid it's a 50 P charge on your card, this wasn't clearly stated so I'm knocking a star off for now.
Tasty food. Even better smoothies. Had a jerk jack fruit and banana/mango/ginger smoothy. I'm not vegan but did enjoy the meal. Was very impressed with the smothies made to order, most places don't put enough ginger when you ask but these guys made it perfect (love that ginger heat!)
Delicious veggie and vegan food in a beautiful setting. The staff are very helpful and the prices reasonable for the city centre. Definitely recommended!
