This place is awesome. Googled breakfast in Leeds and it popped up. Amazing. We came with a one year old and they had a high chair and baby change.
Highly recommend.
Great little cafe/restaurant always busy - friendly staff and fab food. Definitely recommend
My new favourite place. Everything what a perfect coffee shop has to be-incredible coffee, sweets and food, warm and friendly staff and super cozy interior. Had my second visit today and can't wait to come back. <3
First visit. Lovely ambience, comfy seats and friendly staff. Opted for the classic pancakes which were delicious. Really good coffee too! Nice little shop and great cakes etc to take away.
Amazing food. Lunch with my kids after a grad show at NSCD..... what a gem. Goats cheese and fig on sourdough with mint and honey..... sublime. I wanted to eat EVERYTHING on the menu..... fab vegetarian choices and don't get me started on the homemade cakes and Italian biscuits. .... the staff are the friendliest most lovely people too...... awesome all round. Will be back again and again. Thanks so much for making a perfect day even better. Xxxx
Really nice place with lovely food and great attitude from all the staff
I love House of Koko! My friends & I always have 'the old boy' - avocado on sour dough toast with smoked salmon, pine nuts, pickled radishes & chilli oil. My soul feels happy after eating this Great cafe, lovely staff, delicious food!
Fantastic coffee! They really know how to keep and make it....
Wonderful friendly staff and atmosphere....in walking distance from where I live!!
Fab food, friendly staff, greAt menu, good coffee ...
The food here is always so tasty, i have visited a few times now for brunch and it has been a very enjoyable experience every time. The desserts are delicious too! Great atmosphere, great food, great coffee
Lovely vibe ... had the lemon and blueberry drizzle cake divine
Fantastic little place, staff are super nice and the best coffee in Leeds by far.
Amazing as always! Sweet corn fritters are a fantastic addition to my favourites list. Thank you HoK
First visit to House of Koko and I'm thoroughly impressed! Lovely relaxed atmosphere and groovy decor. Friendly staff, scrumptious food and delicious coffee, cakes are amazing too with some unique flavour pairings (try the orange & Rosemary cake!) Looking forward to my next visit! ☕️
First time today with my daughter. I must say the food truly exceeded my expectation. It was very busy at the time and we were told to wait outside with the outdoor heating on. We were given a table inside fairly quickly. Not many cafes would do Turkish eggs and I’ve tried this at 3 different cafes and by far House of Koko is by far the best. The bread came with it was thick and fluffy. We’ll definitely be back again!
We absolutely love this place! The food and the service is impeccable with a really cool and chilled out ambience. I would advise getting here early to avoid disappointment and you may have to wait for a table at peak times. Great work team House of Koko 👏🏻
When the meal arrived I thought, “I’ll be surprised if the taste lives up to the presentation”… it wasn’t an issue. The pictures are from two different times and the food has been consistently excellent. Also, the coffee is first class. House of Koko are really taking “cafe” food to a whole new level. Price is a fair reflection of the excellent standard. My single, minor criticism is that I’d have loved a tiny bit more sourdough to help soak up the flavoursome oils and sauces of the dish. The baked goods are also as instagram-worthy as their flavour. The service is great. Thankfully, kids and dogs are welcome. Yet another gem of Chapel Allerton. Don’t miss it.
Always an excellent and friendly experience! My go to coffee locally, but the food is also brilliant- whether you want sweet bakery items or a good breakfast or lunch. The pancakes are my favourite!!
The staff are warm and welcoming. When it's not too busy, it's a lovely atmosphere. The breakfast pancakes are to die for, excellent coffee!
Review April 2023
— Brunch was nice. I ordered an ice latte, it was nice but a little too milky. Pancakes were lovely again, but the portion felt smaller this time. The bacon was too fatty, crisping up the fat would’ve made it better. Partner said his scrambled eggs were perfect and everything else was good. I’d still give 5* overall, I’ll probably go for the scrambled eggs next time.

— Had a lovely brunch here. Went midweek and sat outside. The coffee was very nice. I got the pancakes with biscoff, bacon and maple syrup. Interesting combination, I’d prefer more maple syrup and less biscoff but it was really nice. My partner made his own breakfast which was very nice too, the lamb sausage wasn’t quite what he was expecting. Good service too, would go back.
Came to House of Koko with a friend for brunch and a catch up and we both loved it. The food was excellent as was the coffee (Northstar). The staff were lovely and their cheese plant (and overall decor) was epic. A great place.
Amazing latte. Lovely roast beans. It was that nice I had two. I am a bit of a coffee snob. Food was lovely too. Staff are polite and very helpful.
We most definitely will be back. Well worth the drive.
Well done guys.
Great local spot in North Leeds for Coffee, brunch and more.
We hired House of Koko for a private event and everything with perfect. The staff are amazing and so helpful and the venue was perfect size for a private party. We will definitely be back for any future parties and recommending to all our friends too 🤩🤩
Recently popped in with a friend for brunch, food was excellent - ambiance as well. Staff was attentive despite how busy they were, especially the owner Rosita who made effort to seat us as quickly as possible. Thankyou House of Koko x
Good food, friendly staff. I would recommend and i'll be back.
We recently heard House of Koko were doing private hire in an evening just as we had been looking for a venue for a 40th party
As one of our favourite haunts in Leeds and best brunch spot, we knew it was a great, cosy space, and with most of us living in North Leeds, it is a perfect location
The space is perfect for a party, we had around 50 and felt nice and full with a great atmosphere. Was intimate and cosy, plus great having the outdoor terrace as a space as well
Rosita and the team were brilliant as well, couldn't have been more helpful and welcoming. Rosita even set us up with a sound guy for full DJ rig and lights, which was dropped off and picked up by the venue, which made everything so much easier
We'll be back for our usual brunches as ever, but think this will also be the first of many parties to come. Can't recommend it highly enough!
Amazing experience. Food was beautiful and so tasty. Excellent coffee and staff were wonderfully friendly and attentive… all this and reasonably priced. 10/10
Can't recommend this place highly enough! We hired House of Koko out as a venue for a 40th birthday do, great venue and Rosita and the team we're first class from start to finish. Highly recommend if you're looking for a venue away from the hustle and bustle of the city centre, will definitely be booking again!
