Was out for the day with some friends as having travelled from Manchester. I have been in this pub on two previous occasions over the last few years. Was served by a very friendly young woman. My friends and I all had the same beer. Two pints were cloudy.
No problems as a new barrel was put on and then two fresh pints were delivered to our table by the barmaid. Excellent service.

Amazing selection of gins and the staff were really knowledgeable about them. We held a meeting in the little back room and the staff couldn't have been more helpful and lovely food too.

Great atmosphere and excellent selection of craft beers. The gin, whiskey and wine offer is wide and top class. At the time of visit the latter included a good Burgundy and an Amarone and the collection is regularly updated. I ordered a cocoa flavoured porter which was really good.
It is a friendly and popular venue with a fresh and bright décor. It has an espresso machine and serves decent pub food.

Brilliant Bar with a very good selection of Ales, Wines and Gins. I had a white breakfast stout which is was incredible. I don't normally drink stout but with it being a white stout I thought o would give it a go.
The customer service from Miles was fantastic and he went out of his way to help my wife find her phone which she lost.
We will definitely be coming back here when we come to Leeds again.

Always a great selection of beers and ales, a lot of them local too. I'm not a gin drinker, but they seem to have a very impressive collection of that as well! The food is also great, much better than the usual 'pub grub' you might expect. Always quick and friendly service too.

On a very busy Friday when everyone was having Christmas do, this place gave us a table in the afternoon. The food was good, the drinks were nice, and the atmosphere is vibrant. Never noticed this place before. It is kinda between a pub and a restaurant.

Decent ale and wine bar that also caters for parties, popular at lunchtimes and after work, the ambience has a French café feel. Table service is available and efficient enough, and the food is tasty and well presented. There is also a good selection of guest ales on offer. Recommended for pre event drinks or as a starter location before moving on into town.

Generally this area of Leeds is a little quieter around lunchtime and as it's not too far from the centre, the Veritas is in ideal place for lunch.
The pub has a light and spacious feel with the tables spread over a number of distinct areas. Good selection of ales and a reasonably priced menu; suprising what a short distance from the main eating streets can do to the price.
I have eaten in here a couple of times now and food is very good with large servings.

Went for a group lunch meal. We provided our orders in advance and food was ready promptly. I had the fish and chips, which was excellent - very generous portions! Good selection of beers at the bar. Nice atmosphere. Easy to see why this place is popular. Recommended.
