This was my first time visit to Akbars Leeds and I think it went well by all means. Lovely, pretty, handsome & very friendly staff. The fastest service ever in UK and chefs has done a great job. Thank you Akbars & see later guys👍.
The best of the best is the is place. I reckon I have been going to Akbars for around 20 years (ish) and to be honest, no where beats it. There slogan is…”King of curries” - I wouldn’t disagree with that in any way. An absolutely top, top notch curry in every way - testament to the owner who built
We came here as a leaving meal for one of our colleagues. We had family naan, chappati, lamb shank, Karahi chicken and spinach as well as Karahi Ghosht aside from some drinks. Everything was tasty and spicy which suited some of us but rest definitely should have requested milder version. This restau

Really good food and excellent service. Can't wait to come again!
Enjoyed my visit, staff were very good food was on point although the lamb Biryani did not taste like Biriyani but was good. Nice ambience, fresh, clean and a great experience.
Authentic South Indian cuisine and classic Indian food for curry lovers. Stylishly lit dining room with mezzanine for a wide South Indian. Delicious food and the waiter was so friendly . I went there with my family for my son’s birthday. I asked them to serve and bring his cake they were served as I expected my son was really happy so I give them 5 starts ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Most food are quite spicy (but in a good and delicious way!!!) if you can’t take hot food, butter chicken is a very great choice, otherwise almost every dish is well seasoned and wont go wrong. Also recommend the mango Lassi, order a jug, a cup wont be enough !
1st time visiting this establishment, greeted with friendly staff, there's a wonderful atmosphere in the place, nicely decorated, we were quickly seated, made our order, food arrived fairly quickly even though they are packed! Great food with great service and reasonable price, definitely recommend!

Warm and welcoming staff. Food was fantastic. Naan was considerably sized and tasty. Table service was amazing. Everyone was happy to grab extra drinks and sides for us. Will definitely come again. Brilliant evening spent here!
Delicious food, generous portions, outstanding service, reasonably priced. One of the best Indian meals I’ve ever had. Was recommended by multiple people asked and can see why. Highly recommended!
Delicious. Nice staff - checked your temperature upon arrival. Food was tasty and fairly priced. Downsides - ground floor toilet needs to be redone- we were the first ones to use it upon opening at 4pm and it was really sticky. Second issue- they charge for water. Other than that, would recommend -
Went here at 6.30pm on Saturday and the restaurant was very busy. Still plenty of tables available but if you are a larger party then it's probably better to book. Amazing starter. I ordered fish and there was not too much batter, meaning I could still taste the actual fish. Mains were great, Nan b
