I've been a regular at this place for over five years now, and there hasn't been a single instance where their service has fallen short of exceptional. The staff members are the heart and soul of this establishment, always greeting customers with a warm welcome and a kind smile. Their friendliness and hospitality make every visit a delight.
The culinary delights on offer are nothing short of spectacular. The tiramisu and pastel de nata, in particular, are so delectable that I often find myself craving them. They have a way of hitting the sweet spot perfectly, making them a must-try for anyone with a sweet tooth.
In terms of convenience, their operating hours during the summertime are incredibly accommodating. With closing times extending to 6 some days, it's easy to find a moment to drop by and indulge in their offerings.
The coffee they serve is another highlight. It's always brewed to perfection, providing a much-needed pick-me-up or a comforting warm beverage to enjoy during a leisurely visit.
The atmosphere is one of the main reasons I keep coming back. The soothing music creates a relaxing backdrop, and the space is versatile enough to accommodate both social gatherings and quiet work sessions. The recent changes they've made to the outdoor seating have only added to the appeal. The chairs are not just comfortable, but they also provide ample space, making it a great spot to unwind.
While there are days when it can get quite busy, making it a bit of a challenge to secure a seat, the wait is always worth it. The bustling energy adds to the charm and the anticipation of finally settling down with a delicious treat makes it all the more satisfying.
One aspect that particularly stands out is the cleanliness and maintenance of the place. The toilets are always spotless, reflecting their commitment to providing a comfortable and hygienic environment for their customers.
In conclusion, this place has become a cherished part of my routine. I genuinely hope they continue to operate for many years to come because it's more than just an establishment to me - it's a place that brings joy and comfort, and I can't imagine not having it in my life.
Great coffee shop just off Park Row. Coffee is tasty and great cakes too. I had the pistachio cheesecake which was gorgeous!
Often busy but a nice chill atmosphere if you can grab a seat. Worth visiting over the usual chain of high street coffee shops.
I went to this place with my family. It was very busy when we arrived. Many customers with laptops. It made me think they were hogging the tables for a long time which seemed unfair to other customers. Anyway we ordered some desserts and drinks which were very good. However the drinks collection area is a bit disorganized. Waited for quite some time for my order. I saw a customer complained to the staff he had waited 30 minutes for his drink.
Overall for us it was a pleasant experience. Not the cheapest place for coffee and cake though.
This place is a must visit if you would like a good coffee in Leeds. My last visit I had a split shot coffee and a selection of authentic Italian treats. The coffee lacked a slight bit this visit but this is the first time ever and I have been going for years. It has had a revamp in the interior in the last year and looks very chic.
Can get very busy around lunchtime so tables can be limited. You can for a buggy between tables if visiting with a little one.
Really enjoyed our visit. Nice setting and atmosphere with good casual food options - ideal for lunch. Authentic Italian style coffee and long established. We have been fans for years. Recommended if you are ever in Leeds and fancy a genuine Italian coffee experience.
Wonderful coffee. One of the best in Leeds, if not the best!
*They grind your coffee as you wish for different purposes. This one is definitely a plus although for the perfect coffee experience I wouldn’t suggest grinding your beans at stores as they lose their flavour.
As a coffee shop itself the experience is amazing, however I wouldn’t say their coffee amazes me.
Another thing, I wouldn’t say this is a very inclusive place for the general public as the location itself gives out an exclusive vibe and the customers are mainly white collar business people and edgy individuals.
So I can positively imagine some amateur coffee lovers would find themselves awkward in this place.
However, as usual, above is just my personal opinion, I’m only hoping for them to be useful for those who can relate.
All in all, definitely worth a try.
Are you looking for a cosy cafe to catch up with friends or your loved ones? Look no further. La Bottega Milanese is one of the cafes in town that you shouldn’t miss.
Upon entering the cafe, you will be greeted by the coffee aroma. The atmosphere is warm, and it is a perfect location to have a casual conversation.
We had Americano and Chai Latte. Each of their coffees is expertly crafted by their barista. Look at the art on the coffee. It’s so beautiful! Their coffee is robust, no complain at all.
While you are here, you may want to try their pastries too! Service was polite and efficient.
We will definitely come back here again. It is a pet-friendly cafe, and staff adhere to COVID19 guidelines.
I buy a flat white from La Bottega every time I work from Leeds. Everyone who works here is polite, efficient, and skilled. The coffee is always perfect and with microfoam like no other locally. I’ve never tried the food but it’s immaculately presented.
Someone told me to go here as it is the best coffee they have ever had. Weren’t lying about the quality of the coffee. Service was a bit lacking but was a very busy time during lunch so can’t really blame them. Would recommend for take out, didn’t like the vibes inside.
