A brilliant gem in the country side. I’m a big fan of this traditional country restaurant/pub. I enjoyed my visit to this place in Ledsham every time. Fantastic food and lovely atmosphere.
It’s very popular. Suitable for families and friends. We have been here numerous times in the past.

Chequers has been setting the standard for a perfect country pub for years. A great selection of hand pulled ales and an excellent changing menu of restaurant quality food. You can't really go wrong eating or drinking here.
Great little village pup, quirky interior, open log fire, very friendly staff and clientele, food was good and portions were very generous. Will be going back
Perfect spot for a well-earned lunch after a long autumnal walk in the woods and fields. Cheery fires, tasty food, great beer and friendly staff and locals. We'll be back soon!
First visit and won’t be the last. A great atmosphere in a lovely old pub. I enjoyed a risotto which was delicious. It would be nice to have a greater vegetarian choice. The staff were very friendly. Service wasn’t quick but in their defence the pub was very busy. Thank you for a great lunch experie

We came for a drink and loved it, then came back for food the next day and loved it more.

Excellent place for a family Sunday Lunch. Menu restricted to roasts, but food was delicious, hot, well served with very generous portions. Beautiful Yorkshire Puds! Lovely Olde Worlde atmosphere and roaring fires. Would definitely eat here again.
Absolutely faultless. Beef, lamb, turkey sunday roast. Roasties, vegetables perfectly cooked and to top it off with succulent gravy 😋 the puds are wonderful. The staff are amazing, many thanks to the chef 👏 Would definitely recommend highly 10 out of 10 for me........
I got recommended to try Chequers Inn from a friend and I'm so glad I did. Set in such a beautiful village, this pub provided the BEST Sunday roast I've ever had out.

Loved it. Lovely sunny afternoon spent with my daughter in the gorgeous beer garden eating delicious food. The pub itself is a lovely old inn with little rooms and open fires. Outside , different areas where you can sit in the shade or in a lovely sunny quaint garden. Also a pet friendly place.

I came across this pub after a walk. The food is out of this world! The prawns were amazing and the fish was on point. Would really recommend stopping here.

Great Yorkshire traditional village pub........ Superb, well cooked tasty food, great cask ales, cosy atmosphere, coal fires. Nice outdoor large patio..... Opposite the oldest church in Yorkshire,in the village of Ledsham.
Our family lunch today was perfect, the food was plentiful and excellent quality.
Staff were extremely welcoming, warm and friendly.
We have no hesitation in recommending the Chequers Inn as a place to visit.
