A Really nice place to come and have a coffee while you are in Library or visiting the art gallery because share space with both.
Really welcome with the young people attending.
I recommend.
Update. Free Good WiFi.

This is a must visit if you are anywhere near. Very old tiles and the vaulted ceiling is amazing.
No hot or savoury food presently, just cakes and scones and teacakes. Reasonably priced and spotlessly clean. Delicious cream scones, 😋 😍 😜 x

I didn’t want to leave this place. After you visit the library, delight yourself with a tea, staying in this place for a bit. Enjoying your snack while staring at art never felt better

Lovely cafe. Always busy with an interesting mix of people. A good spot to pitch up and do some work for an hour with a coffee and a scone.

A beautiful cafe located in the art gallery in the city centre - there are power outlets scattered around making it easy to do some work while enjoying the beautiful architecture/ serene aesthetic of the space - it is also connected to a library, and is a beautiful space to walk through and explore

A cafe with historic feel. I enjoyed having tea break here 😀

The traditional decor makes for a interesting venue. Nice relaxed vibe. There was a guy playing the piano (very well) which was lovely and fit well with the atmosphere of the café. Everything was 'no frills' the food, crockery etc but though unassuming, the food was great. Really tasty. I had the a turkey, stuffing and cranberry ciabatta and my partner had a brie and bacon ciabatta. I really would recommend that you give this place a try, it's a lovely, alternative place, very family friendly and you can pop next door to the gallery afterwards. There were quite a few people working/studying in there, a little noisy at peak times, but some people just wore headphones. Free Wi-Fi and free tap water that you can pour yourself.

The tiled hall cafe in the library is an excellent location serving delicious cakes. They even tolerates me asking for an extra cup so we could make a thickened juice. Service was a bit slow.

Beautiful cafe! Love its ceiling and tiles. Instagramable. Located by the entrance to Leeds Art Gallery. As for food and drinks, prices are okay however the quality is average.

What a great space, if you love architecture this is worth a visit alone.
Coffee and toasted teacake nice aswell.

Decent coffee and a very nice piece of cake for little money.
It's a nice place with fast friendly service and a good selection of food and drinks all at low prices. There is a good selection of vegan and gluten free options too.

Beautiful setting (including resident piano player), food options slightly limited , really just sandwiches and cake. But what we had was lovely!

Amazing venue, had the wow factor immediatly.
Arrived early and it was peaceful. Such a great mix of old and new.
Staff were friendly and efficient. Coffee is quality and the Erros tea later was good. Had a falaffal beetroot wrap that was good and I felt that there was a nice attention to detail.
They provide a water urn and glasses, and you can refill a bottle of water by asking staff at the counter.
I inagine at its busiest the acoustics could get quite loud but when its mid busy or less its lovely. We even had a guy play on the piano at lunch time which was lovely.
I cant wait to go back

Tiled Hall Cafe is located in the previous reading room of Leeds library and connects both the library and Leeds art gallery in a grand building on the Headrow. When the extension of the Municipal Buildings was added in 1888 ...You will now find here a contemporary cafe and great place to eat from breakfast through to late lunch.
