Very good location. It might be a bit noisy for someone over weekend nights due to bars and pubs around. Friendly and kind members of staff. Rooms are very warmly. Extra heater was provided as extra if someone needed.
No selection of real ale good choice of lagers friendly service and great bar staff
Lovely place to stay, Service was great staff were lovely, made us feel very welcome. Very central , though can be a little noisy at night ,but they supply ear plugs lol 😆 we never used as were worn out as busy weekend. Would stay again 👍
Booked for an overnight stay after a gig. Spot on for price, location is great, booked the triple room, would have easily been room for 4. Bathroom grid size. Only thing for me was the mattress and pillows, they're tired, I wouldn't want to spend more than a night on them. That said, we could easily
Very pleasant bar staff. Limited cask beers but was hood
Excellent central location. The girl who checked us in on 5th July at 3pm was very friendly and informative. Room was big, clean and tidy. Good prices. 15% off the drinks in the bar below.
A fine pub for a few beers before a performance at the Leeds Grand Theatre across the street. Cask ales on and a few decent lagers. That's all I know, haven't stayed over so can't comment on that. Staff were friendly and it wasn't too busy when I was in.
Friendly pub,all enjoyed especially the board games.
Really good! nice staff and easy to get in and out! pub downstairs to get drinks from! room was a good size and felt homey. it is loud all night, they supply you with ear pugs!!
Lovely clean and well organised bar for a get together. Some days are quieter than others. Gets especially busy when performances are on at The Grand Theatre or First Direct Arena. Offers craft beers and lagers and shows sports on tv. Management very friendly and sociable.
Perfect for what we were looking for which was really just a bed for a few nights in the centre of Leeds. Beds were a tad uncomfortable and squeaky but for what we paid for it you can't complain. Service on arrival was great
Went in before going to the grand. It is well suited for the Grand lots of memoranilia of whats been on at the grand. Had a few drinks and popped in after our show at thr grand theatre. Service was good. All in all would recommend a visit
Great base to explore the city. The room was really clean and the shower was great. Loved that they provided Yorkshire tea. Lost a star because it was so noisy. (They did provide ear plugs, but I didn't spot this till the morning).
Conveniently located for many local venues. Rooms are located on three floors above the pub. Lots of stairs! My room and bathroom were clean and tidy and very spacious. Nice friendly and helpful staff. Ideal for an overnight stay if going to a show in the area.
Absolutely fantastic bar. I ordered a pint and I didn't like it at all. I went to the bar and ordered a different beer (I didn't complain, I figured it's just my taste not their problem). As I ordered my friend walked past and queried why I was ordering another pint. Therefore I had to explain. The
Great small hotel, option of a flat w several rooms including well equipped kitchen & separate bathroom. Brilliant location at top of Leeds high street.
