The place has really turned a corner since it changed hands, lovley atmosphere, friendly staff and the food was really good. Would recommend, will be back.
We really enjoyed ourselves me and my grandma came out for our tea and we loved it, the staff were polite and friendly and the atmosphere as a whole around the pub was inviting and welcoming also. The food arrived quickly and it was hot and delicious �
This was our first visit to the Stone Trough for breakfast, and we were not disappointed. The food has a great flame grilled flavour, and tasted amazing. Lovely pub and lovely staff. Great atmosphere and service.really good value for money. We will certainly be back again very soon.
Booked our Christmas lunch here this year and was not disappointed.
The staff were great, very friendly.
The soup starter was lovely and the bread roll was so soft and fresh.
I had the beetroot tart and it was delicious, the other half had turkey and said it was very tasty - he liked the fact the veg came separate rather than being piled on the plate.
Christmas pudding was amazing too.
Wasn't over faced with anything, we weren't rushed and will probably book here again next year.

Stopped off unexpectedly en route to the airport. Lovely food. Fantastic value lunchtime set menu. And really friendly and welcoming staff. Toilets clean, place seems well looked-after. We had a great experience!
Good pub, nice food but short on selection of ale, only 1 IPA. Lovely bar staff made us feel very welcome. Good choice of vegan and vegetarian food. Even larger options for meat eaters. Don't get to the dessert but fair choice. Friendly staff, gave us good directions and we're friendly. Would visit again.
There was 8; adults visited your pub yesterday 20th August the food was very nice but for one person he ordered rump steak medium to well done and he couldn't eat it as it was burned you didn't charged for it on the bill which was appreciated thank you everybody else enjoyed their food we will be back it didn't put us off visiting again.
Fantastic place, was welcomed in. Food took a little to cook but was all freshly cooked and tasted fantastic so was defo worth the wait. Would defo go visit the place again. 5 mins from the airport so if staying at the premier inn travel 1/2 mile down the road well worth it. Thanks

Booked a table at stone trough to celebrate my graduation and on finding out about this, the manager, Jai, was very kind and applied a discounted offer whilst also congratulating my award. In addition to Jai, the waiters were also very nice and welcoming and provided a fast and efficient service covering all aspects of allergy by going the extra mile to ensure the food they served was safe for my child who had a peanut allergy. We had a fabulous meal and will definitely be going back after such wonderful service and food.
Ended up pulling in here completely randomly as we were driving past and it just looked so lovely! And we were not disappointed! Every single member of staff was so warm and friendly, the view sat outside was BEAUTIFUL, lovely decor, really speedy great service. This is well out of the way and nowhere near where we live but I have absolutely no doubt that we’ll be back, worth traveling to! What a gorgeous place and the staff are absolutely exceptional. Thank you and see you again soon! :)
